We have been here multiple times with our pets and have seen multiple vets and they were all very helpful, kind and professional. Making an appointment is very easy and they ALWAYS fit you in for last minute pet emergencies. Front staff is very pleasant and easy to work with and all the techs are nice, too!

Bluffton Veterinary Hospital has been a life saver! We had our little trio of dogs under the care of another hospital, but it was almost impossible to get them in without an appointment weeks in advance. Two of our dogs are older, so they are in the stage of needing more immediate care as things pop up than routine maintenance. Since coming to BVH, we have seen almost everyone on staff for one reason or another. The veterinary staff is top notch. They take the time to listen and really understand what is going on. They consult with you about a care plan and explain the benefits as well as considerations. They also answer all of your questions, no matter how big or small. The support staff is wonderful as well and always quick to help- another pro over our previous vet's office! We gladly make the trek from Beaufort to Bluffton knowing that our little ones are receiving excellent care every time.

if I could I'd give this place ZERO stars. brought my dog in because he was throwing up and this place did X-rays on my dog and said he had a tumor and needed "emergency surgery right away". $3000 later they said it was a "negative find" and there was nothing wrong with MY 12 YEAR OLD DOG. We trusted this doctor and the x-rays. Thank you for nothing.

Midway through our weeklong visit to HHI, our 7 month old giant breed puppy, Benny, suddenly refused to bear weight on one hind leg late in the day, cried and whimpered all night. Started calling vets at 8 am in the morning for an urgent visit and while other vets offered us time slots later in the week, 3 days is too long to wait for a suddenly lame dog. This office gave us an appt at 10am. The staff and Dr White were excellent- thorough and careful exam, radiographs, then explanation of problem, meds, and what to do. Even took X-rays without sedation since Benny is gentle and compliant. We were in and out in 40 min. Highly recommend for anyone- local or visiting.

I can't say enough about the care and kindness every member of the staff portrays - from the front desk, to the techs and the various veterinarians. I typically take my cats to any available vet here and they've all been great. The follow up after each "problem" visit (vs just a check up or nail trim) is top notch, including texts and calls from the vets themselves. Our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and the staff and specifically Dr. Caudill have been so helpful!

We've taken all family animals here for years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The staff and vets are always so kind and genuinely helpful. Extra shoutout to Grace for going above and beyond when we needed help with doggie daycare documents! Couldn't recommend them more.

For me for the 3 years I have been bringing my dog to Bluffton Veterinary Hospital, they have been great in every respect. The doctors are very, very good. They go out of their way to help and do not jump to conclusions on problems that might not be of the every day type.They call back when you want to talk to them. In situations where my dog needs quick "look see" and I don't have an appt, they have squeezed time for us in between their scheduled appointments. This is only if there seems to be an acute problem needing immediate attention.Because they have a number of doctors working each day they are open, you have a better chance of having your pet seen - in an emergency.Bluffton Vet is highly professional and very well organized. Every person on staff, from front desk to doctor knows their job and does it right. They are always easy to work with, and like the doctors - go out of their way to help and always in a courteous manner.A separate section is set aside for clients to buy food and meds. The people there are super nice and knowledgeable about product too.Bluffton vet offers boarding service and if necessary has an operating room to further help your pet - if needed.They are just great!
