Come all the way to the store just for it to say you must have an appointment?! Then you call and no one answers. Frustrating, I just need to get a ring reshaped. Looks like I will have to go back to ATL for that too. ???\\u200d♀️

I have never been more insulted as I was when I went in to see Craig to get a piece of jewelry appraised. I had spoken to him twice over the phone, and he seemed very nice and trustworthy. When I went in to see him, my husband went with me. My husband is from Jamaica. Although I had already talked to Craig on the phone and had told him about the jewelry I had been given, he immediately changed his tone with me in person. He said that the owner of the jewelry “would probably really like to have it back”. He said that he would not be able to buy it unless he had a signed letter from the previous owner. I couldn’t believe it when I realized that he was insinuating that I had stolen the jewelry. I told him that I was a respected person in this community, but that I was not going to stand there and defend myself to him. I was so confused because he was so nice over the phone, but when I went in with my husband, he treated me completely different.I would never recommend anyone to use this business and I certainly will never use it again.

Came in with no prior experience selling or buying jewelry with a family heirloom. Immediately was helped, item was appraised and I was offered a fair price. Being open and honest is definitely A&C Gold’s priority. I felt very well taken care of and will definitely come back.

Very knowledgeable,, friendly and a pleasure to do business with.If you’re ever in the market to buy or sell your your valuables or coin collection, Craig is the man to see.He not only will give you an honest appraisal, he will also pays top $$ if you decide to sell. No sales pressure, just a real Southern gentleman.I will continue to support his business in the future.

During the last two days I had the opportunity to visit A & C Gold and Silver. These were not my first visits to the establishment as I have been a client of Mr Burgess for at least seven (7) years. I inherited a lot of “Stuff” from my grandmother, great aunt, mother, and sister. Stuff with which I had no idea what to do. I am, after all, just a guy. After I retired from my career as a teacher and administrator, I worked part-time for Craig at A&C. Previously, I had been a customer having bought a number of lovely pieces. As an employee, I found that he was as kind, charming--and above all, as honest--as I had thought. He is a very, very good man. He has superfluous taste in jewelry. I treasure the time I spent with him.

Not only is this a beautiful store but also it is run by a man who totally loves his work. I've been a customer of Craig Burgess over many years and find him to be a very professional and thoroughly knowledgeable jeweler. His expertise in estate jewelry and jewelry design is extensive. And above all else, Craig simply is a really nice, patient, and understanding person who cares about each client.

I would not recommend this place to sell your jewelry! I took my engagement ring that I paid almost $5,000 for and my wedding ring I paid around $300 and A & C Gold and Diamonds only gave me $320 for everything. He also priced my ring at his shop for $3,600 so he ripped me off! I hate when people take advantage of people that don't know much about the value of jewelry!! So like I said before I don't recommend this place!!
