Sean at Urban Wood has given my family and I the ability to eat dinner each evening on top of a one of a kind piece of art. We approached Sean interested in a live edge dining table with only rough dimensions in mind, he worked though the slab selection process with us providing about 20 slabs available for us to choose from, he helped us understand characteristics of some of the wood types available and worked with us to select a stained resin filler for some cracks in the slab we selected. When the table was finally delivered we were not satisfied with the stability of the legs, Sean came to our house picked up the legs, had a welder add stabilizing wings, delivered them back to our home and helped install the legs and flip the table over. The table is ridiculously beautiful. Everyone who visits our home has their jaw just hit the floor when they see it. A genuine live edge table is a bit expensive, but we intend to have this table for 40 years, and for our kids to fight over it when we're gone. We couldn't be happier.
