I called from the Bluffton area searching for a book that was sold out on HHI and Bluffton. The owner gladly obliged holding their last one for me. I drove up and retrieved it and looked through the store for other interests. I was in town from Ohio. I was able to give my husband a perfect birthday present !!

I have been coming to this store since I was a small child. Today, I brought my two sons. I watched as they recreated the magic I recalled as a child getting to choose a book from all of the lovely books that lined the shelves. Their excitement made me feel like a kid again. I'm so happy I can bring my children to the same bookstore that I loved so much as a child. None of us can wait to come back! Staff was kind and helpful. Plenty of books and genres to explore. This store is simply the best!

This is an excellent bookshop! Great selection, very well organized, and friendly customer service. I could have browsed for hours. Very thoughtful displays and great variety. Wonderful kids selections too.

I did not actually end up getting anything from this store but the woman who I spoke with was wonderful. I am in town for a veterinary conference and Temple Grandin is speaking/doing a book signing. There were supposed to be books available to purchase however they were shipped to the wrong location. I went to this store looking and she had one book but had it on hold for another conference attendee. She took my info and said would call of the other person didn't pick it up. I ended up finding an extra book from a friend at the conference but I was so appreciative of them willing to go the extra step and call to see if I still needed the book they were holding. Thank you soich for your kindness.

I spent a large part of my childhood growing up in Beaufort and was looking for some books on local history when I came back into town to visit. After my first visit, the Beaufort Bookstore has become one of my go to stops whenever I come back into town. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of books about local history is great. I recommend this store, especially if you are visiting and are interested in picking up a book to learn about the fascinating and important history of Beaufort!

Excellent selection of books and metaphysical goodies (crystals, etc). Prices were very appropriate. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Definitely a must go to destination when I come back to visit.
