“My car has been in and out of shops the last couple of months. So I was grateful to find Ham Auto Repair. They took my car back right away and did a through diagnostic.
The other two shops I went too just scanned codes and did work based on that. At Ham, they scanned codes and physically checked the engine/other components to discover the issue.
From there, they fixed the minor issues and looked into a potential warranty for the big one, my motor.
Though they could fix the motor, I appreciate that they recommended that I contact the dealership in order to save $$$$.

We got it towed to Forrester Performance late that evening. Touched base with them first thing the following morning and they had my truck ready to go that afternoon. “John from My Tech Automotive was very helpful. Ran in some trouble with my work van late Friday afternoon. It was right when he was closing however he started diagnosing my van right away.
He went up and beyond and kept my van secured in his shop over the weekend which I’m very grateful for. He called me practically first this Monday morning telling me he got my van back on the road.

“Honest man never had an issue in over 25 years.....I brought my car in today for some maintenance due to the dealership I bought the car from said it needed work done. I dropped my car off to Mr. Gur at 8am, within an hour I got a call from Mr. Gur stating the work was not needed and come get my car. Since the mid 90's "Gurs" has worked on my vehicles without issue or problems. This is my go-to mechanic. Wish everyone had his integrity!”
“Auto care center replaced my water pump on my car recently. the work was great and the staff was friendly. the only reason they are not getting 5 stars is for their communication. after the initial drop off, there was no communication unless I called and asked if the car was ready. I was told to drop it off on a Wednesday afternoon and they would begin working on it Thursday morning. it would in turn be ready by end of day Thursday. having not heard a single thing from them I call Thursday at 2 o'clock and they say oh we have not started on it yet. then I call again on Friday around 12 and she tells me that had finished the repair and she was just about to call me. a simple call to let the customer know what is going on would have been great. especially since I was having to use my wife's car and inconvenience her for 2 days instead of 1. I would choose these guys again if I need to have a repair. but don't expect them to call you and update you. you will be doing the calling. overall, they were $300 cheaper than another shop in town for the same repair quote”
