“Mavis Tire & Brakes, Batesburg-Leesville SC location, provided me with superior, friendly, and competitive pricing/services.I initially went to them as a referral from a competitor because that shop could not see me till the middle of the next month. Unfortunately, I had a prior scheduled trip and could not wait for them to schedule me in. This company, which will remain unnamed, provided me a reference to Mavis Tire & Brakes.Upon my initial call, I was greeted on the phone with a very professional, empathetic employee, Aaron. He was very amenable for me to bring my vehicle down later on that day – stating that they would work me into their day’s schedule.On arrival, I met Aaron and was thoroughly impressed with his professional/ethical skills/persona. After describing the problem, he asked if we (he and I) could take a short test drive to perform a short road test for an initial diagnosis. Within a minute of the start of the test drive, Aaron was firmly assured with his suspicions that there were multiple issues and that they needed to definitely need to put the vehicle on the lift to clearly identify the exact problems.After about ten minutes on the lift, Aaron returned to let me know their findings. I was escorted to my car and as we were going through the findings, he was very deliberate in describing their findings and providing me with option, guidance, and alternatives. Clearly, there was a serious problem with the front-end of my car showed me that I needed to have Mavis Tire & Brakes perform their recommended repairs to ensure I was driving a safe car and to prevent any further damages that might have occurred if I had not come in then to ‘fix the noise’ that I initially heard.After about 15 minutes of wait time, Aaron returned to me with a quote of what was recommended to repair. During this interaction, Aaron was conscious of my budget and my lack of more mechanical knowledge and walked me though all the possibilities as well as communicated very well their competitive prices to fix my car. Once was was initiated, Aaron was acutely aware of my time and keep me apprised of the approximate time to completion of the repairs.The repairs were more extensive than originally determined and due to outside factors outside of his control, he had to push off the initial time to repair to later that same day. Around closing time for Mavis, Aaron called me and advised that they were still working on it and if I wanted to return to the shop (20+ minutes away), I could wait their for the team to complete the full repairs.On arrival, Aaron greeted me & advised that they were still working diligently on the repair and that they would have it to me as soon as they could – assuring me that they were going to make completely sure that I had a safe car to continue using.Near the end of the end of the entire repair, Aaron personally took the initiative to perform a test drive with me in the vehicle to make sure that all of the repairs were done correctly, and I was satisfied with their work. Due to unforeseen changes to a metal item related to the brakes (which was making a noise of the final test run) they stayed, continuing to adjust and test until they had resolved this last-minute adjustment that was needed.I can completely, honestly say that I was utterly amazed at the level of professionalism of Aaron and his team provided to me. It was ‘outstanding’. I could not have asked for a better experience in dealing with Mavis. He, and his team, are consummate professionals experienced in tires, brakes, and front-end work - and a made sure that I left there a very satisfied customer, which I was. I highly recommend anyone with issues similar to mine to give Mavis Tire & Breaks an opportunity. Aaron deserves 5 GOLD STARS.”

Ryan stepped in found our tires and less then 45 min. later with the help of the crew we were on our way. Then we got a phone call from Ryan letting us know that we had not paid for the oil change.
