I live in NC but had been to Wagener to visit family. I've stopped here probably a hundred times for gas on my way back home, mostly when the Huddle House was attached.
Last Wednesday, I was heading back home and stopped by to get gas. Before I could get anything, the card slot clamped down on my card and wouldn't let go! I tried several times to remove it, to no avail. I was ticked off and kind of paranoid that I had to leave my card in while I went in to get help.
I was a bit frantic when I made it into the building. I waited for a couple of customers to finish checking out and then told the cashier what had happened. A lady names Deanne (or Deanna) saw how upset I was and came over right away to help with no delay. That she saw how upset I was and took action immediately made all the difference in the world! As we were walking out, she asked which pump I was at. I told her it was #8. She kind of made a face and said that sometimes pump 8 does weird things. She tugged lightly on my card and, when it didn't budge, pushed it forward and then pulled it right out! I could have hugged her! She was so nice and recognized my distress and that made all the difference!
I WILL be back, every time I visit my mom. I'll just stay away from pump #8!?

Prices of things are wrong in store …
Tag price says one thing and the register says another..
explain this to the cashier.. all cashier said was “ only thing I can tell you is things in store went up ..
Do better circle k .. this how you lose customers.. the people would like to be able to trust the store ..

Managmemt gets a shout out! Outstanding drink selection and everything was ice cold ! Certainly stopping here again. Staff was polite as well

Bathroom had no soap in either dispenser. Employees just sat behind the counter talking the entire time, except for one lady who seemed to be doing inventory. Pizza was old in the rotator and many hot food items were not in stock.'Bout what I expected.Smart checkout thing is neat. Good thing too, as I'm sure it would be like pulling teeth to get some workers to do their job.PS: the hot pulled work sandwiches tasted horrible.Edit: changed from 2 to 1 star. Stopped again today (3/1/24) and there's a "Store Closed" sign on both doors. No explanation. Bunch of ppl irritated about it in the parking lot.I don't think I'll bother stopping here again unless I'm desperate for parking at night.

I’m glad we ignored the negative reviews because this Circle K was neat as a pin when we stopped by to fill up on gas and use the restrooms. This was around 7pm.They also had selection of drinks, snacks and ready to go food treats.I would stop here again!

Huge parking area for trucks,That alone gets 5 stars, I got here at 11:45 pm and plenty of parking.n o reserve spots, quiet and clean.
