Took my dog here after another vet quoted me 5k to remove a blockage after my dog ate a leather work boot, brought him here the next morning. They looked at the X-rays and induced vomiting. Saved my pup an unnecessary surgery and me over 4.8k

This is one of the best vets around!!! My Exotic Bully was having complications with her pregnancy and after getting a pup stuck in her birth canal I took her to the emergency vet in Harbison and all they did was remove the pup and charge me $180.00 for a visit!!! Didn't do a X-ray or nothing! Then was going to charge me $3500 -$5000 for a c-section. After a long night we took her to the this vet in batesburg and not only did we get the best treatment for our dog... the price was affordable! They even followed up the next day to check and see how she was doing. Even though I live in columbia I highly recommend this vet to anyone who need's quality service at an affordable price! Thank you to the Dr. And Staff for your help.

I am so upset about the way I was treated here. When I came in I was crying and upset about my elderly dog . She was not doing good and it was only two cars in parking lot . Nobody was in waiting room .Explained to the woman how my dog had been acting while I was sobbing in upset. She has no compassion at all. And with the most uncaring voice said we can not see her today and you do understand that it would be a 45 dollar fee to see her. We might could see her tomorrow as a walk in. She had no advice no care in her voice or face . This lady treated me like me and my dog did not even need to be in that office. Well I don,t want my girl to be anywhere that they have no compassion. And I don,t appt anybody treating me in such a way in my time of sorrow..

This is the first time I am writing a negative review for a vetrinary office! This place has just been awful. I honestly feel like I was just there for them to make money off of. They had zero interest in learning about my dogs, had horrible bedside manner, and were more interested in selling me the most expensive meds they could. They had hardly attempted to clip my dogs nails and honestly just seemed like they really couldn't be bothered with the whole appointment. I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience. I have worked in the animal husbandry field for almost 2 decades and have always had a great relationship with my animals veterinarians so this was very saddening for me. If you are like me and want a vet that cares about their patients and not making money then this place is really not for you.

Took my puppy for grooming, 3rd time for him. 1st 2 times were great. This time was horrible! My puppy’s fur was uneven and looks terrible. Will not use again ever!

Very helpful in squeezing in my neighbors dog. She had a medical emergency that required her to stay in the hospital & we needed a place to keep her dog. They were very accommodating even though they were full.

I really dislike feeling the need to leave a negative review this morning. Our Beau had an appointment this morning and although they got us in a room rather quickly, that's where the timely manner ended. A tech came in, got information about our reason there and got a fecal sample. Beau and I sat in the room for an hour before anyone stepped foot back into the room. I fully understand emergencies occur, other appointments are at the same time and that people run behind. It is completely unprofessional that absolutely no one even poked their head in to say anything for an entire hour. Not to mention the fact that the vet only gave excuses instead of even a half hearted apology for the wait. Two hours later, we departed what was once our dependable and beloved vet clinic. I DO NOT mind that we had to wait, it is the fact that for an entire hour not one employee realized, out of pure principal, to inform us of any situation causing their absence.

We had a emergency with one of our cats on, sat they said there were 20 people ahead of me...funny thing only 4 cars in the parking lot. I now go to Lake Murray animal hospital they took the time with us and the last time at B-L A
They charge me $600.00 an gave me back a died CAT

Dr. Wagner & Staff are MAGNIFICENT !
Always patient ( I can be a bit high strung! ) , friendly, kind and super knowledgeable.
We have 2 dogs and they are very very different personalities, from one another.
Everyone is always wonderful to them.

Hands down one of the best vets in the state. They care for both animal and owner and it shows. They are also so much more affordable because the owner truly loves what they do and doesn't jack up pricing to make an quick buck.
