Getting fuel is tough as there are no employees to assist or keep order. Several fuel pumps are not working.

$10 boat launch fee but it is a clean, spacious, and safe area to launch a boat and park a trailer.

Don't try to get gas here because the self serve ( old pumps don't pump the gas it charges an then when you walk all the way to talk to them the employee tells you that that pump doesn't work ( other pump heads had bags over them because they didn't work either) asked us to move boat to another pump ( pre payed $140 on 1st pump witch only pumped $1.41) had to pre pay on next pump another $140 ( called 2 days later an spoke to very rude lady/manager, she actually had the nerve to tell me to fight the charges with my bank and that there are other places on the lake to get gas, like we don't want your business) do yourself a favor and don't give them a chance to screw you too. Oh yeah the gas has water in it !!!!

Very nice area. It does cost to park here, even to walk down to the boat ramp for 20 or 30 minutes. The park attendant was super friendly and very informative.

DO NOT GET GAS HERE!!! The only place we had gotten gas and had to put boat in the shop. They told us there was water in the gas!!!

Great people to work with! They do everything they can to meet your needs. The marina is nice and in the perfect spot on the lake.

New to the area and been to Portman Marina about three times. The launch facilities are terrific and the Marina basin has slips that can accommodate from small to large vessels including Sailboats. On premises restaurant has an equally good reputation and lot is always full when open.

Our son got rudely kicked out from the parking lot by the security guy for no reason! He came to check out the place, to look around what it's about. Got home very upset. Awhile ago, me and my husband was driving around there too and got stopped by the entrance person, who seemed angry. We said that we only wanted to look, because we're new in Anderson. Usually people are more nice here, but not everyone.

Not welcoming place at all, I had some rude older guy aggressively come up to my car in his caddy and demanded I leave, threatened me with police just for checking the area out. I wasn't planning on parking at all and there were only signs about parking permits no private property or no trespassing signs. Overall just rude employee and not welcoming place. The place seems open to public and for services and there's a restaurant nearby, am I not in a free nation and for that I like to visually see what the service is before making a transaction if I ever decide to but I would never do business with such an establishment.
