VA Health Care gave me this location and authorization number to use with my prescription through the 2018 Mission Act. They refused to even try to honor the Mission Act instead showed great disrespect towards disable veterans community. I have never felt this much hate towards veterans and going to war for my country. William at 2814 North Main Street Anderson, SC 29621 could have easily ask someone if he didn’t know about the Mission Act.

I typically review restaurants only, but when some business is such an outlier, like this one, I just can't resist the opportunity to call attention to it.We have used this pharmacy for years and appreciate the hard working people there. Unfortunately they are pushed beyond their ability to keep up with the volume of work. It seems that CVS is a victim of their own success. here. My wife has a really bad case of flu. I tried to call to check on the availability of her meds. No answer after 10 minutes of waiting. The doctors office attempted to get through and waited 17 minutes before they gave up. I drove into town and let the phone ring for 25 minutes before giving up.I drove back to the doctors office and got hard copy prescriptions and started to call around for the meds. Most pharmacies in the area answered within 2 minutes. Some within seconds. That includes other CVS locations... and I ended up driving to one of those where I got meds for my wife in 15 minutes from some very nice folks who were efficient and personable. The CVS on Main Street in Anderson needs more people, someone who can answer the phone, maybe a call back phone system, and probably a number of additional pharmacists. CVS TAKE NOTE: YOU ARE LOSING BUSINESS TO OTHER STORES... THERE IS A WALGREENS ARCOSS THE STREET!

I would try to bite my tongue a little better with this review had it not been for the phone call I tried to have preceding this. Over the course of one stressful day at work, a combined 1 hour on hold attempting to reach the pharmacy for information on a prescription-- only one attempt eliciting a response-- is entirely unacceptable. spoke with the supervisor twice, both times they transferred back to the pharmacy which was OBVIOUSLY not responding in the first place and was the issue at hand when calling the supervisor. it took an hour and a half to receive the prescription and it wasn't terribly busy at all, save for a steady stream of drive thru cars. after this long and arduous ordeal it was decided that yet another phone call to the supervisor would be appropriate. they agreed that this was stupid, but transferred back to the radio-silent pharmacy one more time. this was the final straw. girlfriend calls the store with a clear head about the issue attempting for some actual conversation, gets cut off multiple times and is told "maybe you'd be better off calling someone in the morning". never has she been that upset at a phone call. in any case, a cliffnotes is that this pharmacy is absolutely terrible in all forms. do not come here expecting good service, a timely pickup, or much else in general besides quick groceries.

So slow! I don't understand why people aren't told to come back or circle the building when they drop off a prescription. Waiting in line 35 min one day for a prescription I already dropped off.

I swear this has to be the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. How can a place that has the same amount of volume turn out more production in half the time. They need more training and retraining at this location I swear.

CVS changed the phone system!! I have spent 40 minutes today trying to refill two prescriptions. Never got to talk to a real person. Can't do this every time I need a refill.

I think the pharmacy department has a "give this guy a problem" note beside my name. A couple of years ago they refused to fill a prescription for major pain killers following sinus surgery because I had a much smaller dose prescription for a spinal problem. That was a big deal. Sinus surgery hurts. Most recently, every time I go to the window, they give me a hard time about something. They're out of the medicine I need (come back next week) or they pull up the wrong Rx even though they were given the Rx number, not a name. I have five daily prescriptions and they seem determined to delay filling something to make me come in five times to fill five Rxs. I just returned from attempting to pick up a prescription (wrong one pulled up, argued I didn't have the Rx I sought to refill - I did of course). March 2019 CVS isn't contracted with my insurance BC/BS any longer - but won't transfer my Rx's either. Three days since they told Walgreens they would transfer my Rx's THAT NIGHT and they've transferred only two of seven or so. Anything they can do to make life harder on the customer, this bunch will do it. It's hard for me to understand why. (They waited until I was at the window to pick up Rx's called in because I was sick to tell me they wouldn't take my insurance so wouldn't fill the RX's. Nice.)
