Dropped off my truck for a tire rotation between 9:30-10 AM. Never received any updates on my vehicle even though I was the only car there. I come back at 3 PM only to find out that no work was done because "my alignment was bad and they don't do that". While I understand that may be their policy, why was I not told anything for five hours? Nobody picked up the phone regardless of how many times I called. Horrible service.

Disappointed that though the hours say that the Auto Center opens at 7am, no one in management is available to open the bay doors for over an hour. The technicians don't have keys, so they're standing around waiting to be able to work. I finally had to leave because I just couldn't wait any longer!?

My mom woke up to a flat tire when she was visiting. My friend Carla suggested I go to Walmart on Whiskey Rd because she just had a good experience dealing with Tyrone. So my husband and I took the tire, walked in and as we were looking at tires .. Tyrone approached us to see if we needed help.OMGosh! Tyrone was the sweetest! He knew exactly what he was talking about and had the tire in his hands and ready to ring us up in just minutes!Tyrone even gave us a little discount because the tire was a bit pricey compared to what was showing online. He then took the tire out to the shop to put on the rim and he was super fast and efficient!Tyrone literally made the unfortunate experience of waking up to a flat seem like no big deal at all.My mom's car was ready to drive again within a hour of realizing!Well.. last weekend my husband got a flat tire and had the hardest time finding a affordable tire and a place open on Saturday.Honestly he was looking for a refurbished tire to save a little money but we ended up having no choice but to locate a new one.We went back to Walmart and once again Tyrone was there! They were super busy but that didn't slow him down a bit!Right after he rolled 4 tires out to a customer, he returned to help us.At first he didn't remember us but once we chatted he did.Anyway... Tyrone had literally just sold 4 of the tires we needed for $22.50 a piece but wasn't sure if he had another. Not at that price anyway.Tyrone and my husband talked and found a tire that would work!Even though the tire we got wasn't as cheap as the 4 he just sold, Tyrone still looked out for us!We ended up paying $24.50 for the tire & I believe about $13 to take the flat off the rim, put the new tire on the rim and balance it.That might not be a big deal to some BUT when it's the end of the month and not quite payday it makes a huge difference!Getting a new tire ended up being cheaper than a refurbished! My husband and I have decided to return specifically to Walmart Tire Center on Whiskey Rd to get 3 more new tires for my husband's work car because Tyrone has made the past two experiences great!Tyrone made sure the sweet lady that was working as their cashier for the day rang us up correctly. She wasn't used to working in that area but she was still such a pleasant person to deal with ☺️I wish I had gotten her name because I watched her as we sat to wait for our tire to be put on the rim and she treated every single customer with kindness and respect! The tire center had 2 oil changes, a battery install and there was something else but I don't remember lolThe point is that we still were only there for about 30 minutes! There wasn't just one employee in the car bay. They had a few and as I watched, I saw nothing but hardworking men working efficiently on customers cars.I've dealt with various automotive centers in the 25+ years of driving & honestly I don't think Walmart was ever at the top of my list. That being said... Now it is! All because of Tyrone! He constantly had a smile on his face in both of our recent visits. He treated every customer with respect and seems to know a lot about cars!Even when he was dealing with just women, he never once treated them differently. Which sadly I've encountered at automotive service centers in the past.. including Walmart years ago!I don't know why some men assume they can get the over on a woman because she might not know as much as most men but I promise if you visit Walmart Tire Center on Whiskey Rd and deal with Tyrone.. you will not experience that at all!!Do yourself a favor.. don't assume that Walmart tires are less than because they're not as expensive as some in the area.Don't assume that the service workers don't know what they're talking about just because it's Walmart!I'm telling you now that you will save yourself some money and a headache if you go see Tyrone! As long as he's working in the Tire Center, my husband and I will be loyal customers!Tyrone.. if by chance you see

My car was taken to Walmart Auto Center on Saturday at 6:10 pm, for an oil change! I woke up Sunday morning, ready for a trip to the lake! We discovered my car sitting in a puddle of oil! We were given the run around and told that my cars previous services were no longer in the system and that my car could have already been leaking! I have photos of the spot that my car sat in before being serviced with no oil leaks. When the (salary) service manager was contacted, he stated that he wasn't on the clock. It is now Monday evening, and my car is still sitting in a puddle of oil and still no call or answer from Walmart customer service. I have been waiting for the next available associate for 1 hour and 19 minutes. I do work and have a family.. I need my vehicle stat! This is so frustrating.

I went in for an oil change and my car didn’t make it home. I waited at McDonalds on Whiskey Rd for help. When my help arrived, we discovered Walmart literally put the new oil in my transmission!!! I wish I were kidding… Do not take your car here!

These folks did not change my oil at all! I just got an alert on my car telling me to change the oil when i went there to have it changed two-three weeks ago. There is no way my car was even remotely due for an oil change. DO NOT come here for anything. And do not go to Walmart on richland because their customer service is abysmal!Service: Oil change

Went into get my tires rotated and was told I needed them replaced and they wouldn't bother rotating them. That was fine because after discussing it with the service writer I decided to purchase 4 new tires at over$550 . At the time of my purchase there were 3 servicemen in sight all standing around doing nothing and not one car in the bays or on the lifts. I was told to shop around and my car would be ready in no time. Forty minutes later, having not been notified that my car was even started on I returned to the auto center only to see no one in the service area and still no cars in the bays or on lifts and one very frazzled women trying to wait on people and deal with the 2 other customers saying they too have been waiting 40 minutes and longer and still hadn't seen their cars being worked on! The woman called for service people and after 5 minutes still no one came. I asked for my keys back and told her to cancel the purchase. This whole situation was ridiculous and unprofessional. I will never attempt to use a Walmart auto care center again!Service: Auto tire replacement

If you get your oil changed, make sure they reapply your engine oil cap under the hood where they pour the new oil. Went there a couple weeks ago, they changed my oil and this very thing happened. I drove home after my oil change and didn't drive for a couple days, when I do decide to use my car again it had just rained, my car has an issue starting but it turns on. I'm driving from where I live to Aiken which is about a 15 minute drive, 5 minutes away from my destination I can smell burnt oil then smoke is coming from my hood. I park and go into the store and shop. Coming back to my car I load my bags then lift the hood, the engine oil cap is sitting in a spot in under my hood and a little smoke is still coming out of the hole where my cap is supposed to be placed. Walmart auto centers are notorious for this. A few years ago this happened and it took a lot longer to find out the cap wasn't where it was supposed to be. Took it to the dealership where I bought it and they filled me up with oil since I had been driving everyday without the cap and had no oil. I went to the Walmart where they did my oil change, even though i had proof they were the last to change my oil they did not believe me based on the fact the service was performed a month ago and simply did another oil change and I had to pay for it. So if you get an oil change here, look under the hood before you drive off. Many would say just go to somewhere more reputable or just check under the hood before you leave, and you're right, but Walmart was one of the only places open at the time I needed an oil change, it's low cost, and it had been so long since this happened forgot to check before I left the facility like I had learned to do after the last time this happened. But regardless of what I paid or the history, you should be able to assume when a simple oil change is done the cap is put back on the engine since it's such a minor detail applying to such an important piece of machinery that your car cannot move without.
