I just recently was looking for a new dentist and Dr. Vereen's office was recommended by a family friend. What an amazing experience I had. Everyone from my initial call to get an appt, to the follow up reminders, to the receptionist, Megan the hygienist, and Dr Vereen were all great. They set you at ease throughout the entire dental process. I highly recommend Dr Vereen's office for your dental needs.

Love Dr. Vereen and his staff! Very professional and very knowledgeable! I'm new to town and I've had the same dentist for most of my life. I'm very particular about my teeth and was not looking forward to finding a new dentist in a new town but I'm glad I found them. Love their technology too! I'm very pleased!

Horrible experience. Wasted 500 on nothing. He barely looked in my mouth. None of my questions were answered. I feel completely ripped off. The other staff was nice but I beg you please don't go here.

If you have an issue Dr Vereen will not speak with you. His billing staff is incompetent and rude. my daughter and I are still having issues with our crowns months after they were done.

Dr Vereen was so personable and explained everything in such detail. I was so amazed at the state of the art equipment that helped me to see very clearly what he was recommending. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. So glad we found this Dental office, as we recently relocated from Illinois. Highly recommend!

Very bad experience with DR Vereens business office, that they are completely unwilling to resolve. I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB, and all professional organizations. After 30+ years of service for my entire family, and never any issues, we will not be returning here, and I strongly suggest you don’t either.

Five years ago I was looking for a dentist in Aiken. I tried Dr. Vereen based on a recommendation from a coworker. On my visit I was told I needed 3 fillings. This was a surprise to me as I only had one filling my entire life and was not experiencing tooth pain. I decided to visit another dentist and was told I did not need any fillings. Five years later I still have not required a filling. The old adage is true to get a second opinion.

I called this dentist to see if they took my insurance and was told I was in network. I waited three weeks with horrible tooth pain and got a evaluation and was told I needed a root canal. After my evaluation, when I went in for my root canal they told me they did not take my insurance and was trying to charge me close to $1000. Front desk receptionist aren’t professional and when I called to ask if I could at least get some medicine until I could get a root canal at another dentist, they told me they couldn’t help me and that I would need to see another dentist for that. Even though I got my evaluation from there and paid for it for no reason at all only because they lied about taking my insurance to begin with. Ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I am in the crowd that suffers from dental anxiety. When we moved here I spent almost a year researching websites for local dentists and then 4 months before I worked up the courage to call for a consult. During that call I had a full blown panic attack-ugly crying and all…. Courtney was wonderful and stayed on the phone with me for quite a while helping me schedule a consult and was incredibly understanding of my feelings and was so supportive. When I went for my consult, everyone on his staff was so kind and gentle. Dr Vereen spent the time getting to know me and making me feel as comfortable as possible. He answered all of my questions and throughout my visit showed not only an understanding of what I was going through with my high anxiety but also offered me every support to help make it easier on me. He explains what he’s doing before and while he’s doing it, stops at any time with the raise of a hand, and is so gentle. When I needed a referral to a specialist, he made sure it was someone he knew was just as good with anxiety and between Dr. Vereen and the team he put in place for me I have become so much more comfortable in the dental chair. I feel like I am truly cared about and valued as a patient. My experience has gone from horrible to not being so scary, every time I go I get a little more comfortable; and I am so grateful for the patience he and his staff have shown as I work through my anxieties. Whether you have anxiety like myself or are just looking for a great dentist that uses the latest technologies; I can’t say enough good about Dr. Vereen and his staff- HIGHLY recommend!!!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Very polite and courteous staff. Dr. Vereen was very professional, had a great bedside manner, he was very explanatory as was my hygentist and just makes you feel comfortable during the entire process.

I thought we had finally found a dentist after struggling to find someone who had less than a 3 to 5 month wait, when we returned to Aiken. The fact that there was no wait should have been a red flag. The front office receptionist and hygienist were very nice. Dentist was fine, not super outgoing, but seemed kind. However, after the appointment, and after being told the practice was an in-network provider, their billing person started to call and leave extremely rude and unprofessional messages about my "unpaid bill." I was able to speak with her within a day or two of her initial call, and she asked if I was having problems with my mail, which we were, as mail was not being properly or consistently sent due to to mail forwarding issues. I explained this and that I was on the phone with my own patients and would call back. I work on west coast time and due to an emergency with a patient, was unable to call back before they closed that day. I began getting text messages that day about the balance due with a link to pay the balance of the bill (that should have never been there in the first place since I was told they were in network.) I paid via the link the next morning, and shortly thereafter, received another voicemail from this particular woman letting me know that I never called her back as I said I would and "this bill is YOUR responsibility." I texted her to let her know I had already paid the bill. No apology, no real acknowledgment that this was handled incorrectly. This morning, I made an appointment with a new dentist. Patient beware.

Dr. Vereen and his staff were so great with our son Tay! They all went out of their way to make him feel at ease and smile and they took great care of him. He said he had a great trip to the dentist and was excited to go back next time! Pretty big praise from a 9 yr old boy!
