What a wonderful place. Staff is all you could ever ask for, accommodating, helpful, courteous etc. Clubhouse, restaurant etc are rustic but well maintained and a real pleasure and treat. Loved the course and surroundings, my kinda place and very reasonably priced. At over 100 years old it is a true treasure.

One of golf’s greatest values! This is a piece of public golf that should be experienced by anyone with their own set of clubs. You’ll never have more fun on 5700 yards of grass and sand in your life! People are fantastic and we can’t wait to get back with better weather!

Such a gem of a golf course. Very tricky for the first time out. Greens were a little difficult to get used to the speeds, but they were pure. Loved the course and will try to play every time I'm near it.

Would appreciate the hack who on the 18th par hooked it up to the road and shatterted the winshield of my gold colored F150 today 8/13/23. You can PM me to discuss you and your group not leaving a note or telling the Pro Shop. Classless golfers here!

First time I have played this course in many years. Was pleasantly surprised. The course is in really good shape. As always it’s very challenging. But the big surprise today was they had just got in new golf carts today with GPS. That is a huge upgrade.

The course was renovated about 20 years ago. Hybrid bermuda grass was sprigged into the fairways, along with installing a new irrigation system course wide. The greens' surfaces were changed to an improved, ultra dwarf bermuda grass. The course is now one of the best maintained in the area. It is kind of like a links course, that has been dragged into the hills and it is a lot of fun to play.

Beautiful Donald Ross design. Short but challenging. Pace of play was right at four hours in the middle of the day on a Saturday.Loved the Pinehurst like waste areas, tough to read greens and challenging decisions on nearly every hole. Great experience!

Was a volunteer for a local charity golf event. Nice course, the staff was exceptional and incredibly helpful. The food catered by the restaurant was good.

What Aiken Golf Club lacks in conditioning...it more than makes up for in character. There is serious movement in the land and the narrow fairways and greens are a substantial defense against the lack of distance. You will not be blown away by the presentation of the course...but you WILL remember your round...and that makes it worth it.
