We are so thrilled to work with Southern EQ Service! Having just moved to South Carolina we were devastated when we found our sweet Friesian gelding sick. We had not established a veterinarian relationship yet! We called and spoke with Pam, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating. We were so worried and anxious(well, I was the worried one which made my husband miserable:). Dr Davis and Lilli are amazing. Dr Davis walked my husband and I through the diagnosis and treatment while Lilli took care of everything else. At the end, our horse is doing great and we are incredibly pleased with our experience. We could not be happier!! Thank you, Southern Equine Service!!

‼️I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE‼️ Not sure if it was the owner or an employee but either way, a vehicle with their logo magnet on the side tried to run me, my 4yo daughter and unborn child off the road today! We were coming down the bypass past wire road headed towards highway 78. They refused to use their blinker and tried to merge into my lane forcing me off the road all the while being behind an oversized trailer being moved. I stayed in my lane (which was my right of way) and they continued to ride side by side for half a mile being in the oncoming traffics lane where several people had to go off the road in order to avoid being hit by him. I personally would not and do not know of anyone who would want to do business with someone as unprofessional and with such a “greater than thou” mentality that they’d be willing to try and wreck into a pregnant lady and her toddler. You couldn’t pay me to recommend them to anyone and I will make sure all my equine friends are aware of their intentions while behind the wheel of a company vehicle. If they are willing to do things as such, imagine the things they are willing to do in their business behind closed doors! Just a thought!

Professional! Gives it to you straight. My mare was treated for severe colic with impaction. They treated her with compassion and care. I received detailed updates. Super clean facilities and supportive staff. I thankfully was able to bring my girl home. Thank you all who made it possible and the care you gave her. There was nothing more joyous than seeing her healthy and whole back home.

I love Southern. They have regular farm vets who will come to you for all the regular things you need and also have a hospital for more serious or in-depth procedures. I use Dr. Ray and she is a straight shooter who has helped me with everything from tendons to colic to repro.

The staff is amazing! So nice and welcoming!! The facility is in creditable, great through Covid 19. And prices are good considering. We drive 4 hours worth the drive.

Southern Equine does a great job with my horses and my boarders horses whether it is a routine visit for preventative care or for a minor or serious condition. They call back promptly to schedule a visit, give test results or to answer a question. While I usually have Dr Reda come out to my barn - I have seen other vets from Southern Equine and they are all equally proficient and helpful. They have recently expanded their inpatient horse care and horse breeding care as well.

Dr carter is amazing! He has helped my family so much with our horses! My moms big geldings foot was basically falling apart from the ppl she got him from and dr carter and farrier Keith built his feet back up. He is now completely sound!
