Travis is God sent. He was honest and straightforward about everything. I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. He made me feel very welcome. I will never buy a vehicle from any place else but Master Chevrolet.

Master Chevrolet is a superb dealership of exceptional integrity. There were no surprise add-ons when it came time to talk total pricing. There was no high-pressure tactic. We were free to explore available models and options. It was well worth the hour-long drive from Columbia - twice - to work with Master Chevrolet. Our sales associate, Brandon Pennington, is a true professional - he'll go the extra mile to ensure your satisfied purchase.

3 service issues in a row. Am I coincidentally the only one? I am disappointed for the third time. 1. The 2010 Tahoe (a new fuel pump control module, which they said they could program but when I arrived said they couldn't and that it doesn't get programmed) which Blake graciously took care of by looking it up and it specifically stated it must be programmed. And he resolved the issue. 2.The 2012 impala with 58k miles (that I had 2 recalls done on ignition and control arm) had an appointment Wednesday around 11 and didn't get it back to me until Saturday just before they closed at noon. The "shield" was installed backwards and it was rubbing and making a terrible screeching sound (but when I called 10 minutes after I left, the first response was "it was like that when you brought it in"). Needless to say I was mad the entire weekend about the service and response. 3. And now, my 2009 Silverado hybrid.
First, I had to change my ABS pump on my hybrid truck for no power brakes issue so I dropped the truck off to have it programmed to the truck (which is what is stated/needed to complete the repair). I got a call from the service department that "your truck is ready". It was not until I arrived to pick up the truck that I was told that it still had the same problem of no power brakes and that it was recommended not to drive. (Update: I took it to another service center same day. The next day they stated the replacement pump was bad and would not communicate with the software. The pump could be turned on and off but would not communicate with the vehicle. So now, either their software is bad (and definitely the pump) or there is no way Master programmed the ABS pump.)
Second, it was printed on the receipt that it was recommended to have a diagnosis for $150 to move forward. Wouldn't that or shouldn't that be something that should be said/stated after the requested service was complete and before stating that the truck was ready to be picked up?
Third, she stated that the airbag had a recall and asked if I wanted to have it done or bring it back. I asked if it was in stock, I didn't want to have it in the shop for days waiting if not. She was going to see if they had it and I never heard anything else about it. Lastly, I was quoted $185 plus the tax when it was dropped off which I didn't mind paying. But upon arrival, it became $221 after tax and (MY CONCERN) an additional $27.88 added on to the bill for "Environmental & Shop Supplies Fee" ? To hook the CPU/Programmer to the OBD requires, please tell me, what "environmental & shop supplies"? Not to mention a "regulatory compliance expense" only $4.65 but still these were added after the quote and I find it pretty deceptive to add these fees after the fact. Especially when, first, if they were "standard" (not quoted) why it wasn't mentioned in the quote. And second, again, how these fees had any relevance to the service programming of the abs pump/solenoids.
And honestly, after the Impala issue, and especially the Tahoe issue (which was also programming) I have serious concern to whether this programming was done and/or done correctly. Not sure why I am giving 2 stars except for the fact Blake took the time to listen to my rant on the Tahoe and resolved the issue.
In the future, I will sure be looking elsewhere. Even if I have to drive quite a distance. No one has reached out or responded to my issues. But let it be known, there are some serious issues at Master Chevrolet service department in Aiken, SC. This is either incompetence, lack of knowledge, limited training or all of the above.
(Edit: And now after reading the numerous poor service reviews, I see that nothing has been done/corrected and it's apparent nothing will be done. As a small business owner, I too rely on feedback for any service issues otherwise I would be in the dark thinking everything was great. But this is where I do what is neede
