Front desk was friendly (even by Southern standards) but still very efficient.For instance, we were in town to visit friends and family and happened to drive past the hotel, so we stopped in to see if they’d let us check in a few hours early. The agent said our room wasn’t clean yet, but since it wasn’t busy at the front desk, she moved us to another room on the fly so we could drop our bags and “freshen up.”

I was bit by bed bugs here last night, as I am allergic to them and have had run ins over the last 20 years of travel with work, I'm unfortunately very familiar with the reaction to the bite. I informed the front desk clerk at 6 am and left my contact information for the general manager, and was assured that my clothes would be dry cleaned (a courtesy that has been given at any hotel any other time this has happened). I also emailed the GM with pictures of the bites and explained the situation. At 3pm after no returned call or email I contacted the hotel, got the GM on the phone, was met with complete denial of bed bugs (big surprise) and found that my belongings had not been cleaned. When I got to the hotel she wanted me to go into the room to get my belongings and had the POLICE there. The amount of disrespect for me and my belongings was disgusting! The woman had the nerve to say "I don't know where you've been"... Hampton inn in Aiken, that's where I had been. And that's where I got bit. I am a gold member with Hilton, but I will sleep on the streets before I stay at another.

Only real improvement we see is that the bathroom had a very smallwalk in tub shower. The tub bottom slopes up creating the possibility of slipping if you step on it. A little risky for seniors like us.Safety: Bath shower extremely narrow and risky for slipping

Great staff, however; I can hear water dripping onto my bathroom ceiling and I can see mold growing through the ceiling paint. Badly in need of a remodel.Safety: Mold ain't safe, friends.

No complaints from my family group that was there. I just stayed the weekend of December 8th -10th 2023. We was surprised with the wine & snacks. We would like room 301 to always be our personal room when I stayed if it's available.Food & drinks: Everything thing you could want was right there. Convenience.

Let's just start with the obvious in that the fitness center is abhorrent. The overwhelming mold and mildew in that room makes your stomach turn. I noted this twice during my visit and had no fix. They have some gross damprid container in the corner, that is it.This place is a dumpster fire. The rooms are grossly dated, but it's the lack of concern for your guest's health that is the most troubling.Don't be cheap. Fix your hotel.

We had a comfortable stay and were well cared-for by the staff. Breakfast had good variety and I always love the all-day Hampton Inn coffee station (which has actually good coffee!!!). As a Hilton Honors member, I have stayed in many Hamptons and this one goes above and beyond.

I was traveling with my two young children and all of the employees were so kind to all of us. The employees were friendly and helpful and the breakfast had many great options for adults and kids alike. The mini waffles were delicious and the employees were always offering assistance with my two young children. I needed milk for my baby at night and the front desk employee offered to fill it for me at no charge even though I offered to pay for milk. There was always fresh coffee available in the lobby area. We truly felt welcome and cared for- I will definitely stay here again!The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a refrigerator. Our bathtub handle did break but they offered us a new room. I didn’t want to move since I had two little ones, but they gave us keys to shower and bathe in a vacant room just next door. Things break and I feel like this hotel truly did care and wanted to make things better for us. Great customer service and humanity!Food & drinks: Great breakfast and coffee!
