Absolutely incredible service! The employees here value their integrity highly. I and several others in my family have been with them for years and I cannot praise them enough. These are some very trustworthy people with quality work and I will always recommend them.

Not once but TWICE, the staff at this shop have gone out of their way to get me back on the road with very limited time and notice. I can’t even describe how appreciative I am and I KNOW there are many other mechanics who would have simply said, “Sorry, we can’t help you.” They are incredibly easy to work with and genuinely want to help people. I am so thankful ??Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Called to ask about getting a quote, they said I have to make a appointment and it would be close to $200 just for a quote even though I know exactly what’s wrong with the car as it’s a common problem. I get why they charge for a quote because of so many “google mechanics” but I’m a diesel mechanic by trade and just didn’t feel like do the repair but now I’m doing it myself.

We recently had my daughter's small SUV there to find out the problem with a noise sounding like the brakes we first thought as they'd said last time we'd need to get those fixed. We were told it needed the struts, ball bearings and tie rods replaced all at once! The vehicle has been well maintained & has low miles for yr but we at first trusted them. The prices were $1827.93 for struts and $ 1071.41 for ball/tie rods. and doesn't inc a list of other things they said it needed done. My husband was told they were booked up & itd be few wks before they could get to it. We decided to take it to another local place as we were concerned for her safety. The owner there kept it all day checking it ALL out! He found nothing wrong with the brakes (still over half life left), struts, ball bearings or tie rods!!! He did find out it needed two new tires and a rotation. We had previously gotten 2 new tires from Auto Work and instead of putting them on the front, they did one on front and one on back. Plus, never told us others needed replacing. It drives great now! All it needed was tires!!!'My husband had been doing business with Automotive Workbench for MANY yrs. We were so disappointed! I cringe to think of how much money we spent on his former truck that may have not been needed. My daughter's vehicle had been maintained by a mechanic in Batesburg as it was owned by my aunt. When we first learned of all Auto Work said it needed, my aunt called him with the list and he said no way - I know that vehicle! I am so glad we took it somewhere else instead of being ripped off for unnecessary repairs that were also overpriced according to other garages. Beware of Automotive Workbench! Apparently raking in the cash is what's important to them.

Okay, so I ended up not needing their services but I feel like I should brag on their professionalism! I am new in town and began having a vibration up front on my Prius. Gave Workbench a call and although they couldn't get it in until the following week, I took the appointment. You talk about polite, caring, and thorough! I felt at peace and my gut told me this was a great shop to trust and do business with! My husband ended up driving down and switched vehicles with me, so I ended up not needing the appointment. But you better believe if I need anything in the future this will be the shop I call!! Thank you for your excellence in customer service :)

Horrible people took advantage of me being a woman. Charged for diagnosing the problem and then would not fix it. Kept coming up with things that needed fixing. Charged over 2000.00 and never fixed the problem. They are users of woman.

Let me start off by saying the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I've taken my 2015 Hyundai Sonata and 1998 Toyota Tacoma into them and they were always quick to diagnose the issue, locate the parts, and make the repair. Let me tell you it's not always easy finding parts for a 24 year old truck but they always make it happen. They are my go to mechanic. I would also say that do to the current labor shortages the country is facing you have to be a little more patient now but I would not take my vehicle to anyone else.Services: Air conditioning

I went to this place in June to where I had to get my car towed due to the battery. They charged me $300 just to replace the battery and a diagnostic for which they were trying to charge me $1,000 for new brakes. I believe women easily get taken advantage of when it comes to cars, and this business has done just that. 3 weeks later, my battery completely dies after getting it replaced. I called and informed them of the problem, and the person over the phone claimed they wouldn’t be able to look at it until 6 days after I would turn the car in due to “not making an appointment.” I had my dad call and they were very understanding and told him they would “look at it as soon as possible.” The next day after I turned it in they informed me they replaced the battery, however I needed a new alternator for around $500 . I was distraught and decided to have my dad call to which they said “The car is ready for her to pick up.” I honestly think if it was not for my dad contacting this place, I would’ve easily been taken advantage of.Service: General repairs & maintenance
