The staff are always helpful & willing to help us get in for an appointment when urgent. Dr. Melinda is down-to-earth & thorough. She’s great with animals & has their best interest at heart. Highly recommend. We’ve been taking our pets there for several years.

my little buddy had been sick for a few days and my home remedy efforts weren't paying off, so I started looking around for a vet (his only vet history has been with the mobile pet vac for shots/flea meds and the humane society when he was neutered).I went down the meager list of local veterinarians and started making inquiries. An Iva vet seemed aloof from the start, then even condescending when I said I would have to pay in cash or make payments, abruptly offering me an appointment 4 days later (after I'd explained that he'd not pooped for 3 days already at that point...) fortunately the person I spoke with at the next place, the animal care center, explained that they also didn't take payments but cash would work and gave me a time within a couple of hours of my call to bring him on in.The staff and doctor were really nice and explained the potential issues and treatments and made sure he didn't have an intestinal blockage. She gave him an Rx (I could have used one myself for anxiety!!) and sent us home.I hope I never have to go back, but if I do, I don't have any 2nd thoughts about going back.

Dr. Melinda is amazing at what she does and is great at working under pressure. My family has been taking our pets to her for at least 18 years now, and I know she will do her best for every patient she sees.
