Came here to look around & when I rang the bell for service cause I needed the bathroom, the lady with white hair and glasses said we had to buy something in order to use the washroom (which me and my wife were planning onto).. Cause apparently the lady said that the bank took over the store and there are strict regulations they need to stand by or else the bank will shut their water off.... Well first off, there's a reason why the bank owns the discount store & secondly... They're ain't anything in here worth buying, unless you're into expired food & cheap bargain clothes

We went into MacFrugal‘s while it was pouring rain outside looking for shelter we looked through the store, and on our way out, accidentally rang the bell. We said sorry, and that we didn’t actually need any service and then walked out the door. It started pouring again, so we went back in and sat down. A lady with purple and white hair and glasses came over to us and told us to get out. She was also playing with a hanger in her hand in a way that scared us. We asked politely why we were doing getting asked to leave. She set an aggressive tone that we had rang the bell and we hadn’t needed service and so we were now asked to leave. I told her that it was an accident and that we had yelled sorry and nobody had came as we were walking out the door and she said it doesn’t matter and also you have your water bottles in here which isnt allowed. iPad said OK and also our water bottles are empty and I shook mine so she could see and she said I don’t care get out so we said sorry and left when she told us to but she was very rude so I don’t recommend going there. They just lost 6 customers — Brooklyn, Grace, and friends …

This store is great if you're looking for a bargain on clothing, makeup, all things girl. However, the money saving stops where the clothing ends and the the grocery isle begins. The prices for food items compare to the average grocery store or higher.

No discounts here! Most of the items can be found at Walmart for the same price (or less). They were also selling expired food here for 50% off. Won't go again.
