I would like to give the room a 0 however I cannot. Avoid this place at all costs. The room was absolutely filthy. Definitely was not cleaned between patrons.....no that's being too nice it definitely was not cleaned after a few patrons.Counters and surfaces not wiped for God knows how long, toilet was not cleaned, shower was filthy from dirt many patrons ago. Microwave still had residual food particles in it, fridge dirty. Well enough ranting negative carpets were semi vacuumed and sheets looked clean I think ?. Oh and price was 99$ a night however listed at 89$ on line. JustDON'T.

This motel was the grossest place i’ve ever stayed, never was once cleaned, and when i arrived it was still dirty from the last people! never vacuumed, towels with stains, bed sheet and covers with stains, pillow covers with sweat stains! the floor was absolutely disgusting had to wear shoes the whole time and the bathroom was full of mold. NEVER STAY HERENoteworthy details: DISGUSTING

The service was great. The manager and his dog were very friendly and the accommodations were great. Room was clean and I did enjoy the tables placed outside the room the evening we were there. It’s definitely a place I would stay again if I needed to rest.

Avoid staying here at all costs!!!Natural gas smell in room,Asked for new room - “none available, just open window an inch”I decided to leave because there aren’t even any carbon monoxide detectors in rooms!!!!When leaving - “well we have another room”Too late!!!

This place is not the Ritz but the hospitality was great and we were well looked after. Great shower, AC, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and HD TV in each room. The owner Roland and his boss dog, Odysseus, bought this motel just before Covid-19 pandemic and are gradually making upgrades. There is a breakfast nook that has cereal and bread for toasting, coffee and juice.The bistro tables and flowers out front are a nice touch.There is a bbq on the side of motel if you want to make something for yourself. I enjoyed reading my book out front at the bistro table in the evening.Location is close to main Street and a 10 minute walk downtown. 17 minute drive to the Regional Park. 45 minute drive to Batoche historic site run by Parks Canada.

On New Yrs Eve we hit a deer and ended up at the motel! Nobody was up so I went into the Breakfast Nook as the door was open! We used bathroom facility and waited in warm till the tow truck arrived! I was amazed at how clean the area was ! You could basically eat off the floor! Thanks Roland! ? I did have a nice chat with him later .... he’s running a tight ship! Keep up the good work!!?

We had to change our itinerary several times due to our schedules, Roland - Manager of property was very agreeable, helpful and professional. He also was very accommodating regarding our entire stay at the Wakaw Lodge Motel.We highly recommend visiting/staying at this facility. The area was clean, neat and orderly. He also had coffee available whenever we needed it!Great Job Roland!N.W.

I was greeted very pleasantly by the new management, Roland n his pooch Odysseys. Once checked in I was showin around the breakfast room....opens by 8 I believe. Which was equipped nicely with a simple continental breakfast. Good selection of teas. Fresh bread for toast jams n peanut butter. 3 types of milk for cereals. ( a small selection of fruit would be nice addition).From there I was shown to my room. It was a nice double room. A little dated but clean. Bedding was very fresh n crisp. Bed was ok. I enjoyed the pillows. Slept very well. I had a very early morning. Leaving by 6 am Roland had fresh coffee ready n waiting.For a smaller town motel it was great. Keep up the work on the rooms. You have a good thing starting Roland

Myself and another fellow shared a kitchenette for a little under a week while we worked in the area, splitting days and nights. Management was very accomodating with our requests and worked around our scheduling to make sure we had what we needed to be comfortable.I will stay at the Wakaw Lodge Motel again if my travels bring me back.
