Poor customer service, I go in to shop this evening and they have this dumb Indian guy with a turban just standing in front of the store as a door knob not saying hello as you enter the store.

Till area is too small. Once again our purchases were falling off and on the floor. No help. Dangerous. I hurt myself there. No safety changes. Shelves are low on product and still have none of the grocery items and gluten free we normally would buy there. Just went in for Murphys oil soap and garbage bags. Not much on our shop list is there nowso we now so we do our main shop elsewhere. No service.

I had taken to trying the online service for getting groceries . I found the service great to the point where I had to supply a credit card or debit card . I supplied the card information and it shot back to me try later they were having tech problems . One hour later the same response , two hours later the same response. I phoned the store I was transferred to from service counter to groceries department as” they handle these kind of problems”.At the grocery department they suggested I phone the service department . The merry go round has started . What now? the grocery representative took my number for the manager . One hour waiting no calls?

You probably won't find a better price elsewhere on anything they sell from motor oil to groceries.I will admit that there are a few things I will hesitate purchasing from any Walmart which includes their jeans, shoes, plants and eggs. I also ordered an item online from them 2 weeks ago that was apparently delivered to a different address in the wrong city which is a logistics problem of theirs as the weight of the package is incorrect. I don't see the point in them acting as an online marketplace as their core value is in the big box business model. At least 1 month will have elapsed since the time the order was placed to the time a refund will be received with nothing to show for all of the aggravation.I personally don't like online marketplaces for retail and think that the only companies that have the online business model solved are those very large distributors with million sq ft warehouses that move very high volume from a couple of stocked locations and have been doing mail order business back to the time when they were shipping catalogs. I would rate the site as spam without futher need to explain. The company lacks the type of quality control you would find in a specialized retailer due to the amount of volume they move and insufficient management resources. Their common strategy is to flood the local market with foreign goods that are not tested for longevity in the regions. When a company is overly focused on being the cheapest, you will end up with standards on sizes morphing or the product shrinking and fading excessively so nothing is saved in the long run and you have an inferior grade item at best. For instance, half sizes in footwear can be the difference between a shoe fitting properly and many cost driven retailers such as this won't carry half sizes or quality material. The corporation has a very large carbon footprint and a heavy reliance on globalization. Taxes into the wrong hands don't fix the local economy as does community involvement in which they are lacking outside of their retail presence. I also don't like the example they are setting in Canada by selling guns in a department store visible to minors. This chain fills the void of the defunct BiWay and Kmart stores with an Americanized agenda and I think that its unfortunate that such a retail model is needed here as its collection of apparel is substandard to Towers, Sears and Woolworth companies. I think that the attitude of their managment would have to be quite different from that of their store workers. If BiWay didn't stay in business, then the only thing keeping this retailer open is market bullying. If Canadians can't afford a particular essential item that is fit for life in Canada, then that needs to be visible to other Canadians. I think that the recent reintroduction of Zellers may give them some healthy competition although ultimately common sense will drive the consumer into paying more for better quality.

Very poor customer service, was at self check out DOING MY OWN SCANNING! and one native lady is grabbing stuff out of my cart saying I missed it. And another worker comes over telling me that I'm scanning wrong, that she can't see what's been scanned that i need to be putting my items on the table when theyre scanned? Never have I done it that way, I put what I scanned to the back of the card because I didn't have bags. Keeping everything I scanned separate. Like whys it matter? I'm doing your job, and you're telling me I'm doing it wrong? Needless to say, we said we weren't going to be harassed and we left. Beyond unprofessional and inappropriate. If you don't want customers to scan there own groceries, then don't provide self checkout. Not sure the 2 ladies names but they need a stern talking to about customer service. Brutal.

I called the main line then asked to be transferred to the automotive department. I then waited over 10 mins to find out I was transferred to electronics. I told them I wanted to speak to the automotive clerk and she told me she didn’t know how and needed to serve other customers. Anyway I ended up purchasing elsewhere, absolutely useless on the phones.

Went through a normal cashier as husband just had open heart surgery so I thought why should he have to bag our groceries. Two cashiers at the till. I guess one was being trained. Never offered to bag our stuff and then when I said something they just looked at each other and continued to do their own thing. CSM standing there and didn’t say a word to them either or even to us.Complained to the front end manager and he really didn’t care.Sent in a complaint and was told that the cashier should be asking and that she will bring it up to the front end team. If they should be doing it why aren’t they. If I wanted to bag my own items I would have gone through the self checkout.Very poor customer service at this store.

I'd give 5 stars but there's no benches inside the main doors for people to sit on while they wait for their ride

Walmart has the worst customer service. Unfortunately I can't review the item because I NEVER received it, but buyers beware!! This Item was put on a special clearance 2 months ago and It never showed up. I thought maybe they over sold the item because It went out of stock within minutes of my buying it. I inquired about it a few times (since it was back in stock at one point) and I was told "it got lost in transit" and they could not send me another item (even thought it was back in stock). I have been patiently waiting to hear from a manager, which I was told was supposed to happen and now I see I have been refunded for the item. There is no reason that a price match could not have been done and the item sent out to me when it was in stock. It is now out of stock again and I am extremely disappointed in the customer service or lack there of. If this item is on sale DO NOT BUY IT!!! "It will get lost" or they will just over sell and you will be left disappointed with out the item that you wanted to give to you child for Christmas!
