The store itself has lots to offer but is quite disorganized and cluttered. Staff was not overly friendly, no greeting or offerings to help find anything either of the 2 times I was in the store. I spent gift cards plus out of pocket when I was there the first time so the second time, I was returning something - apparently if you use gift cards even for a portion of your purchase, that is the ONLY method of return. Even though I spent $70 cash + $100 gift card and was returning $25 worth of stuff, it HAD to go on a gift card.
The gal helping me with the return did not seem to think customer service was a big deal anymore and was quite snappy with me even though i was polite throughout the whole transaction. She told me I couldn't return electrical. I had 1 light switch too many I had purchased, so it wasn't a huge deal. I said, "No worries, I didn't realize that, sorry," and I got "Well, it's posted all over the store." So now I was also incompetent, according to her.
I will not be returning to this Home Hardware - I will wait until I run into one elsewhere to spend my $25 gift card.

Very friendly people, I bought a tiller for over $600 for my garden an the one that does the building helped us build my tiller in store to make sure I had all the parts, no questions asked he got right in there an spent a half hour helping, even helped load it, thank you kind sir. I appreciate the kind help if ur lost right now someone is asking, an lots of smiling faces I really enjoy coming to this store
