I used to be a loyal VV shopper. I'm disappointed in their prices, and over the last year they've increased to the point that they're higher than the price of the new item. An example would be....the price of Christmas tins formally from a dollar store are higher at VV...a used item.
Cheaper clothing from Walmart & Superstore almost the same price.
The charity theme is taking a back seat. Profit Village here we come. Shame on you!

Everything is WAY OVER PRICED. I've seen prices on donated items consistently rising. For example a nice coffee mug is $5.99, can be bought at Winners for same. If it has a brand name like Tim Hortons or Star Bucks, it's even more. Kids pants, for example, if it says Adidas or Puma or Nike, are like 10.99 or 12.99. It's ridiculous, really. And they don't support any charities, I believe. All greed! I only go on senior Tuesday, if I have to go at all.
