I got a Sun Valley Down Coat online and picked it up on November 22 , around 4pm at this branch. I did not check the item before leaving since it was already in a plastic bag. However, while I was trying it on when I got home, I noticed the item was dirty and had white lints.
I tried to return it the next day, November 23rd, 1pm, not even 24 hours after having it. I request to exchange it for the same size and variant but this time a clean one. An associate who assisted me had this rude approach, said NO to an exchange or refund RIGHT AWAY without hearing what happened. She told me that they were not responsible for it because it was not a "manufacturer defect", implying that I had to deal with the problem and they couldn't do anything about it.
To begin with, the coat is NOT cheap to be receiving this kind of customer service. I hope the management gives time to training their associates on addressing customers' concerns.

Lady working the shift on Jan 1/2024 at around 6pm - Racially profiled me and didn’t not believe me our my family were paying customers, when we tried to return a defective item - she tossed me off and said find your “5 year old receipt”.. Will make sure this gets some exposure..TRAIN YOUR STAFF

Best winter wears, shirts, glouse .. everything is of best quality ?( this was my previous review).Need some editing after today’s experience. A bad experience from an associate . I had an old jacket with minor issue which I want to check with them for warranty. The associate we asked about the warranty claimed the issue we had doesn’t cover. But after that she started being prejudice and was little rude and make us feel like we are there for free stuff. We had another jacket in our hand to buy and had asked her about paying for this. She was in a rush and she make us feel like we are dumb and don’t understand things. I am in Canada for a decade and I have been a customer till then and never someone had made us feel this way. The person accompanying me also felt the same way. Very dissatisfied after this purchase. Customer service should be better.

Part of my online order was never sent to me, but I was charged. In order to to deal with the situation, I had to phone multiple times, wait on hold for over an hour, and then was told after a month of waiting that I had to wait another 15 days for a refund AND that they wouldn't simply just send me the item I had bought. If I wanted it still - I had to go online and reorder it and pay again - even while they were processing a refund. Makes no sense.It wasted a huge amount of my time to get a refund back. In addition, my card was charged several times for the same items (including the one I never received), and it took weeks for them to clear the excess charges from my card. The phone staff were as kind and helpful as they could be, but it's the company's policies and poor resourcing of customer service that is the problem ( not a staff problem, a company problem). I will never order from Eddie Bauer again.
