Got my car in relatively quickly. They did very thorough work. Communicated clearly. One thing I noticed for sure is that at no time was I made to feel dumb for not being a mechanic.

From the first call to Mike to book an appointment to the last call to Dave to pay the bill, service was professional, efficient and kind. My car was picked up from my home in dire need of repair and returned to my home in excellent working order. Thank you everyone! Will be seeing you again!

Quoted $240 to replace cabin air filter. Literally a 5 minute job for a diy person at home. Which I did after a quick YouTube search.

Very good service and communication. After taking my car back and forth to the dealership 5 times with the same issue......Kinetic fixed the issue on one visit. Their staff are very professional and friendly! I'll keep using them in the future!

Very impressed with the entire service and team at kinetic auto. Their communication, attention to detail and friendly service was greatly appreciated. The entire process is so efficient from getting a prompt appointment, thorough assessment and diagnosis and prioritization of work required on my vehicle. As someone not too familiar with vehicles, they took the time and patience to explain the issues and repairs required. I really appreciated the exceptional communication throughout the entire process via text and phone. Particularly, the reports detailing the work needed and prioritized according to urgency in addition to being accompanied by photos. They were upfront throughout the entire process and I really appreciated the ability to drop my vehicle off anytime the day before my appointment with a dropbox for keys if doing so after hours.

I had struts replaced in 2021 with Napa Quick Assembly with warranty… I had to get replaced and went to Kenetic. On Napa’s website the price is $415.29 each Kinetic charged me $630.92 each. A markup of $215.63 each for a total of $431.26. I called and talked to Mike an he told me that was the price for installing and the part, and when I questioned the extra $464.98 for labour he said it’s to cover costs of shop /employees ect.
I understand businesses need to make money and obviously money is more important than customers. Word of mouth and social media will cost them more than what they stole from me.
Edit:
After talking to several mechanics the Quick Strut Assembly takes an hour per strut for labour so I was charged $232.49 per hour/labour dealership rates are $190.00.

Dave at Kinetic Auto was so courteous, friendly and helpful, right from the first phone call, when service to one of our vehicles was needed. From diagnosis to repair, they communicated flawlessly by email ( and a phone call or two) on what repairs were needed immediately, vs ones that would be needed in the future. We appreciated their emailed detailed diagnostics and prices to repair. We felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. We have NEVER found their great business practice in another repair shop! If I could give them more ⭐️ s I would! Thank you and Kudos to everyone at Kinetic for your stellar service! We will be back!

After an awful experience at a dealership, I knew I could trust Kinetic. I'd been to this amazing shop before and can't believe I ever went somewhere else. They have an honesty, integrity, transparency and kindness that shines through in the work right to the customer service. Things have always been explained to me so I understand and space to ask questions so I am able to make a decision effectively.

What a fantastic place! Mike was an absolute lifesaver as I blew my radiator and was stuck in Regina on my way across Canada. They got me back on the road in remarkable time with a quality product and service, even left me with a cookie from a local coffee shop as a parting gift. I wouldn’t think twice if I had car trouble in Regina, Mike, and the crew at Kinetic, is the guy!!

Cannot recommend this place enough. Dave and Mike are both excellent, the communication was stellar. I really appreciated the detailed report that was sent to me to look over before they went ahead with repairs. I hemmed and hawed a bit over what to fix and when, and they were patient and flexible with my terrible decision making skills. They have flexible payment options and have an after-hours lockbox for key pickup if their hours don’t work for you. (As a shift worker this is incredibly appealing.) All in all it was such a positive experience and I will certainly return to have more repairs done.

They are always prompt, communicative, and super upfront about processes and charges. Really appreciate the clarity they provide and the vehicle inspection report for things to keep an eye on.

I'd like to give a shout-out to the team at Kinetic Auto Services.
The AC failed on my old Jeep and it was time to start doing the math on whether to keep the old girl rolling or Old Yeller* her. The used vehicle market is wild these days and everything I thought I once knew about the life of a vehicle has changed.
They did a thorough inspection and in clear detail provided a report on the state of the Jeep. Clearly stating "nice to have", "need to have" and "you are a bad parent and putting your children's life at risk " work that needed to be done.
Needless to say when I found a new used vehicle to purchase I had the same inspection completed. I now feel like a less bad parent and have a trusted vehicle advisor to help schedule preventive maintenance and a road map for work that needs to be done.
Not killing my family in a barely road-worthy vehicle, I'm counting it as a win this week.
* for those of you not familiar with Old Yeller. It is a classic, adored movie from the 50's , it's a heartwarming story about a little boy and his loved dog that he eventually had to take out behind the barn and shoot. This is what Boomers grew up watching for fun.

Being a very nervous senior needing service for my vehicle I decided to try a woman owned shop with female technicians. I am thankful for that choice. I was fully informed of the vehicle issues, which ones were urgent and which ones could wait, along with fully disclosed costs. Staff is professional and earned my trust. I will be back.
