I am an individual who believes in the principle of 'everyone is welcome'. This principle, I feel, should be particularly embodied by a Christian establishment. However, my recent experience at this Christian thrift store was far from embracing this ideal.Upon arrival, my attention was drawn to a rather bewildering sight. The store had a considerable number of toys displayed right at the entrance, an evident magnet for the little ones. But incongruously, a sign nearby sternly warned, 'Do Not Play with the Toys'. As a parent, I found this paradoxical setup quite disturbing. It felt as if the store was intentionally laying a trap for children, who, being naturally inquisitive and playful, would inevitably be drawn to the colorful toys. While shopping, an even more distressing incident unfolded. I overheard a group of staff members at the back of the store, their conversation riddled with indirect yet clear comments about a mother and her children who had been 'guilty' of touching the toys outside. Instead of understanding and tolerating the innocent curiosity of children, these individuals chose to label them as 'monsters'. They even made remarks about the necessity of disciplining these children with physical punishment, complete with accompanying hand gestures. This level of hostility, particularly in a place that should embody love, kindness, and understanding, was a bitter pill to swallow. As a customer, it was deeply unsettling to witness such bigotry and intolerance, especially towards innocent children. Moreover, the implication of physical violence as a form of discipline was downright reprehensible. In an era where we are trying to promote understanding, acceptance, and compassion, it's sad to find establishments like this Christian thrift store that still perpetuate harmful beliefs and behaviors. I cannot, in good conscience, support this business or recommend it to anyone else. It is my hope that the management takes a hard look at their policies and the attitudes of their employees, in order to foster a more welcoming and inclusive environment.

Clean, neat well organized thrift store. Bit of a boutique feel, not your usual 2nd hand store. All proceeds go to support prison gospel ministry.

Friendly staff and who knows you might just find that one special thing you have been looking for. I found a juicer and a slow cooker both for $40 smacks. The slow cooker was practically new...
