“In September 2024 I decided to hunt for an Acura CL coupe (YA2); but not just any CL coupe, a very specific, limited production model. Many Autotrader, Marketplace, and Kijiji searches later revealed a unit happened to be available at Band City Auto in MooseJaw, SK. I rang up the dealer and the call was answered by the owner Tim Giokas. Tim was very friendly, informative, and non-persuasive. Tim and I chatted on the phone over the proceeding days and I ended up making the trip down to MooseJaw to meet him and to see the car in person. Upon arrival at Tim's dealership he greeted me at the door and introduced me to his staff. We walked through the showroom and into the garage section which is when I spotted it... a 2003 Acura CL Type-S with the 6-speed manual transmission; a very hard to find car these days especially with low mileage. Tim answered all my questions and was eager to help in any way he could, from recommending a nearby SGI licensing insurer to directing me to the perfect spot to go for some lunch while I test drove the car. Tim's lunch recommendation landed me at Streets Steakhouse & Bar where he said "if you go, try the chicken fingers, they make them from scratch and they're awesome", and he was right they were fantastic. Upon my return to the dealership, Tim and I shook hands on a deal that worked for both of us and I hit the highway back home in what I would characterize as one of the best luxury
cars that Acura has ever produced. In summation Tim was helpful, did a great job, represented himself well and it's for these reasons that I will go back to him again to buy vehicles in the future. Thank you Tim.”
