“I booked a room with the local competition based on the stellar reviews... but the first room looked like a teenager lived there and the the second room was just as bad. So at 1030pm, after driving ~14hrs, I wound up at the Lagana talking with two kind men with big hearts in a dark parking lot... "I just bought the place. Please forgive the mess." Indeed, the lobby was under construction and a road construction crew had just left. But by gum, these fellas found a rentable room for two old crows who really didn't want to relive another hotel horror story. To be fair, the room wasn't fully appointed but the basics were covered. Linens and bedding were clean (and smelled clean), the floor was clean, the walls were clean and the bathroom was... clean! Yay! Roy, Mitchell, if you are reading this, THANK YOU!”
