I went in to see if they had twin mattresses or boxsprings. It’s probably better to get something new for that anyways, but they do not sell that. I walked out with a television to replace the one that I have that makes a sizzling noise when I turn it on. The one that I got from the store works good. It’s a little bigger than my old one and I was not thinking of the space that I needed when I got it. It fits barely. Been years since I have been inside the store. People shopping are very diverse. One of the ladies shopping there was nice enough to help me and give me a ride back home. I discerned that she is really nice. But as far as for the mattress and boxspring and a couch, I think I will buy them brand new slowly.

This is to the Owner of the Woonsocket Salvation Army... My husband and I went in to look for a couch today. We found a two piece set that we liked and decided to inspect it.We took all the cushions off, checked out the back, and even tilted it to look underneath. There was only one tag on this couch. If there was another one, we would have seen it! After paying for the set, we had to finagle a truck in order to bring it home. When they finally brought the couch down, it was the wrong one. Apparently the tag was on the wrong couch set. First, it's not my job to check the tags on everycouch. Second the female worker who was helping the manager, accused me of switching the tags!! I found this extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude!! I told her to go back and watch the surveillance, because I DID NO SUCH THING!Someone with that attitude and unprofessionalism should not be working for you. She claims to walk around every 30 minutes to check tags. Well, I never saw her, and apparently she isn't doing her job. I'm extremely disheartened and angry with this experience and the female worker.Linda, the manager, did refund our money, and acted professionally. However, I feel that we should have been honored the price we paid.Especially since it was the ONLY tag on the couch, no one checked the ticket number with the couch we thought we were purchasing prior to us paying, and therudeness/unprofessionalism of the female worker was WAY out of line. I will no longer donate or go to the Woonsocket location because of her. Thank you for time.

I like this particular store It has three levels including a basement. The entire third floor is dedicated to furniture. The basement has a bunch of bargains with respect to many things such as household items electronics toys pictures and the stock varies. The first floor is entirely clothing for men and women and children. The second floor is like bedding pillows DVD CDs and children's items and some stuffed animals. Always reasonably priced. You never know what you're going to find there some gems there.

While every other "thrift " store is jacking up their prices, this one isn't. It's my go to. 4 floors and very good prices.

I liked this Salvation Army location because it has 3 separate floors of clothing and goods. it also has a historic feel to it with its old wooden floors. the staff were also incredibly nice and hardworking. They unfortunately have limited parking so all parking is street parking only. they had limited items in certain sections but I think this is more pandemic issue, I imagine the shelves will be fuller in the spring. they also do not offer bags but you are allowed to bring reusable bags. If you have the time I would definitely recommend this location. you can definitely find some interesting items if you take some time to look around.
