Highly responsive to the needs of the local region regarding animal adoptions and care. Also, very active for such a small organization in supporting the area and the animals it cares for. I am concerned about the one negative review which seems as though the reviewer might have been complaining about the town's dog park which really has nothing to do with the Stand Up For Animals organization or its personnel and it sounds like he may have been in the wrong place with his comments and his bag of broken glass.

Meeting Deb Turrisi and Stand up for Animals was the best thing that happened to our family during these difficult times we are going through. I just had 2 back surgeries and I can’t work & my husband lost his job from Covid and hasn’t received anything from unemployment for months! We have 6 rescue cats and 2 dogs and I am so blessed to have been helped with pet food, toys, and resources I didn’t know even existed! I am overwhelmed by the love and caring we have received and I really appreciate all you’ve done for us and our pets. Saying thank you just doesn’t begin to say how thankful we all are! ???

Gail with stand up for animals has helped us and our family out more then you know. She is a wonder person!! and beautiful inside and out! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping out with all she can. All the animals including mine. She lives kitties so much!!You are so lucky to have such a great lady on your side. thank you agian to all!

Love the room they have for the older cats but not so welcoming in the dog area. Adoption is easy and not so time consuming. Needa a fresh layer of paint to spruce the kennel area up.
