I have had consistent problems with this pharmacy for well over a year. My prescriptions are always delivered late, if at all. When I asked the tech why there are always issues she responded “the font that says delivery is small so I can’t see it when picking orders” excuse me??! Some of the rudest, most unprofessional staff I’ve ever encountered. Save your time and frustration and go somewhere else.

Since moving to Westerly this Walgreen's pharmacy has been nothing but headaches. I have only one prescription to fill and they can't seem to get this right. Every time I request to refill the prescription there is an issue. An issue with insurance, an issue with the dr not responding, and, every single time, an issue with ordering the prescription. You would think, since I've been refilling this prescription at this Walgreens for over a year now, they wouldn't have to order it every time I request a refill and the order taking over a week sometimes. I called asking why this was so and was responded to in a rude and condescending tone. Was told I was the only one in the area on the prescription, so they order it every time I refill. The person on the phone was not help and told me I had to call around to see if other Walgreens had it. Called another Walgreens nearby, even though they didn't have it on hand, they were able to help me locate another Walgreens that did have it and were able to fill it. Awful. I never had these issues at my last Walgreens prior to moving to Westerly.

The literal worst. Idk how it’s still open honestly. Pharmacy and store are both awful.

There seems to be a theme with Walgreens pharmacy in general, but truly, I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional staff. Between neglecting to call in my script, notify me of issues with insurance, and treating me as if I’m subhuman, I can say with confidence that you should seek your pharmaceutical care elsewhere. I think as a team, a group therapy session would be a great idea for y’all.

I’m not from around here, nor is Walgreens my primary pharmacy. I stopped in here to get a drink on a road trip and honestly, I’m glad I did. Nancy at the counter is one of the kindest and most compassionate people we have ever met. We felt welcomed from the minute we entered to the time we left. Whoever manages this store should know that she was the sweetest woman ever, to the point where we were compelled to leave this review. Great customer service.

My experience with this walgreens has been mixed in terms with how I've been treated by staff. I usually give the benefit of the doubt when I have a negative experience with customer servers, and I typically pawn it off to the having a bad day, however there is a particular older women that is employed who has given me continued poor experiences every time I go in there. Shes been rude, off putting, and has a rather annoyed attitude. I work in customer service and I welcome folks in, answer questions best I can, offer any help, and try to put a smile on even when I don't feel up to it. There are some very pleasant fellas that work there that I enjoy running into, but I feel bad for anyone who has to be around that women any length of time. The gentleman Chris that works there, a young cashier is always nice, attentive, friendly and has a welcoming personality. It's too bad that because of the female employee I'll probably avoid going there and just stick with CVS which is a rock throw away.

This pharmacy used to be spot on before it became Walgreens. I’ve been trying to give it a chance since but after at least one year of giving it said chance. I’ve had nothing but hours and hours of waiting time (including in store waits up to an hour), not being able to get medication because they decided to change their hours every other week, “insurance” issues that aren’t really insurance issues, and so much more. Today is the last day I will be getting anything from this pharmacy.

Arrive 20 mins early for a 520 vaccination appt as requested. Didn’t receive shot until just before 6pm. People who arrived well after me were vaccinated first. 1 hour and 15 min total time in store.

(This review is for Walgreens, which bought the old Rite Aid at this location.)During the two most recent trips I've made to Walgreens, I noticed that the cashiers working up front do not properly use their face masks or practice good hygiene. Today one of the cashiers working up front had her mask below her mouth and was repeatedly touching her mouth with her hands -- the same hands that then handled my purchases. During my last trip, the cashier (a different woman) had a mask on that did not cover her nose, and she repeatedly wiped her runny nose with her hand. Really disgusting, not to mention unsafe during this time of COVID-19. With CVS nearby, I will not use this location anymore.
