I traveled to Rhode Island from Massachusetts to visit my father, who has always used Ron’s shop for his auto care. When I arrived at his house, my car was making some strange noises and I had borrowed it from a friend, so I was very nervous. My father immediately sent me to Ron and told me that he would help me out. When I got to the shop, Ron dropped everything he was doing to check the codes and to look at the car. He told me that I shouldn’t drive the car because it was dangerous and he helped me by telling me what the codes are. He then allowed me to wait at the shop until AAA came to pick up the car. He didn’t charge me anything for his time and he was very helpful! My dad has nothing but praise for him as he has used him For 40 years!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

my alternator belt broke on my way to work. I had it towed to Dunns Corner Repair. They were incredibl. Got the car fixed so fast. and my car is running great. I highly recommend them.

The guy down there. Ron is amazing. I’m from New York and last night.Just as I pulled into my in-laws driveway, the car starts making sputtering sound. It would not drive over 10 miles an hour without have severe shaking.Ron was able to work on my car pretty fast.He looked at the car for just a few minutes and ordered the parts.delivered from Napa parts in no time at all.He replaced the parts and saved us.My wife and I were freaking out on how we were going to get home on time for work on Monday.Ron, you truly save the day.I am so thankful for you.Best of luck to you.Service: Engine repair

I would give this place a high rating.They treat you with respect. They tell you what is wrong with you vehicle and what is needed to fix it. No monkeying around. Other places take your money and laugh as you walk out the door. I would highly recommend that place to everyone that needs to fix their vehicle. They had my car for 2 days. They changed the battery and fixed a headlight. The labor cost was $95. I picked it up and THAT SAME DAY the engine started overheating even though it had never had that problem before. They quoted me $575 to fix it. I went to another mechanic, it was done in less than 24 hours for $120. And they never put my AAA discount on my receipt. If I didn't mention the discount they wouldn't have deducted it. I believe they inflate their prices because of the AAA discount so people are still paying more. Don't trust them. Update: the headlight still isn't working

DCR has had my vehicle for 3 weeks to troubleshoot. They have not returned my calls or provided follow up on status. I went by the shop today to speak with someone and discovered the vehicle was not there. The mechanic has it and is away for personal business, WITH MY VEHICLE! I went there again before there scheduled closing expecting to see my vehicle on premises for metro pick up. The shop was closed early and NO vehicle! What am I to do?
