Love the dog we got

It's wild to me how people are claiming that any of the good reviews are "fake". We live here in West Warwick, RI and got our black lab at the Scituate location on August 25th 2021. We have had her since then and she is still with us today. Healthy and thriving! She will be turning 3 years old this coming May. She's been such a great addition to our family and it stinks that some people have had bad experiences but I personally didn't have any issues with the staff or the process.

So bad and they sold the illness dog. Don't buy the dog there. Strong recommendation and don't buy dog from them.

I walked into the West Warwick location on 10/19/23. I was pleasantly greeted as I walked in. One of the workers had just finished mopping up the floor and appropriately advised me to be careful as I walked around r/t the wet floors. The place looked reasonably clean, and there was a grooming happening when I was visiting to the back of the store so naturally there was fur flying around near the back lol. There were no odors. They expressed one rule immediately and it was " not to touch the puppies", which I can respect ( it was hard to follow but I did lol). There were many puppies, they all looked clean, well fed, and I didn't see feces infested crates/bins, all bins had water dishes, the water looked clean. I visited with two Boston terriers in their indoor dog pen, the two Boston terriers I interacted with where: clean, clear eyes, lively, no odors. beautiful coats and Playfull and one particularly puppy was all over me lol he was my favorite and a second puppy for the first 30 secs or so appeared nervous but quickly acclimated to me and the new surroundings. Neither puppy shied away as I tried to pet them, but there were lively. They allowed me to take pictures of the two puppies. The staff were friendly, very willing to answer any questions I had and I had many, no high-pressure sales, explained the process and the 2-year health guarantee, showed me the ACA certification for the two puppies I was interested in. In my opinion they lost one star because they had a few wire crates that looked very uncomfortable for the puppies especially if there in them 24/7 and their prices are expensive, but I guess so is everything else these days. I didn't get a dog today because I am still in the research stage, and I want to fence my yard before I bring a puppy home, but the perfect puppy might be a contender.

Just make sure you double check your contract when it comes to financing because my daughter got a 170% interest on hers. She was too excited to actually read the contract her fault i know but still. also the puppy was sick she had worms and something else and they did nothing.

Do not buy the puppy from here, my friend paid dearly for a sick dog. And their dogs are more expensive than other. To buy a puppy, you need to pay extra for dog food and microchip. That is very expensive too.

There is NOTHING false about this review, but I bet some of the 5 stars ARE false!! This is nothing but a puppy mill with some sick puppies that they still sell and don't want to hear from you ever again!!!

It's like a puppy mill in there! Many are kept in giant metal boxes where they cannot even see out!!! I felt bad for all of them. 8/5/23... i have a neighbor who bought a puppy here that DIED within 2 months. They refused to give her the money back!!!! None of it!!! If you buy from here....... be prepared for the worst!!!!

Girl at desk said we could not touch the puppies! They were starved of attention and their pens were filled with dog shit. Place smelled and pups were not bathed. Puppy Sales 101 is let potential customer form bond through play and touch.... Girl seemed to be doing homework on her computer rather than caring for the pups.

This facility has alot of dogs. The odor in the facility made me have to leave a few times while waiting to see a pup of interest. The dog had runny eyes, underweight and clearly sick.Despite that obvious signs of sickness, my fiancé wanted to purchase to get the puppy out of those conditions.Puppy displayed signs of sickness from the first night home. Excessive coughing to where it was throwing up, wheezing, not able to sleep and upset stomach.Took the pup to the vet and confirmed it was sick. Was given cough medicine, anti-nausea pills and antibiotics, along with a recheck in 10 days.My other dog who was perfectly healthy until bringing home this puppy is now sick as well and awaiting a vet visit tomorrow.Symptoms of coughing to the point she’s throwing up, harsh breathing and unable to sleep.Do not recommend buying a dog here!!My original dog came directly from a licensed breeder in MA with certified health and accredited and was always in perfect health until this new addition came home from this facility.

Just stopped in to see some pups. Girls were very nice and knowledgable about the puppies. You're able to touch or pickup two pups per visit... We'll go back soon hopefully to buy one. The dog I really loved already had a deposit on it... I'll update my review if and when we buy one. Easy to get to and park. Nice little plaza with a Subway next door...

Please don't get your animals from here. They are from the Amish puppy mills and they sell you dogs that arnt even the correct breed you want and over charge. Go to a reputable breeder. With every puppy you buy from they the puppy mills produce more. I have so many customers of mine that bring dogs in from this place and are misinformed about what actual breed they purchased and the care/grooming they need. One of my clients was charged for a Standard Doodle....her dog is a Pure Bred Mini Poodle. I've seen dogs come from here that are sick with kennel couch and many other sicknesses. Do your research and again buy from a breeder if you want a puppy.

Friendly assistants, healthy puppies and are well socialized. When inquiring about pet prices, add about $70 for microchip fee and about $40 for a bag of puppy food, to total cost, of pet.Went here for a pet, because, for 2+ years, I keep applying to shelters and groups, to adopt a small breed dog and for some reason, I kept being denied.Thank you Perfect Puppy. I couldn't be happier. Love our new puppy.<3 :-) <3
