I went to Gendron's to sell some gold jewelry and a diamond ring: the person told me my ring was cubic zirconia. I then showed him the appraisal I had on it to which he said" oh." He told me 2 pieces of jewelry with just metal: they were 18 carat gold. Totally untrustworthy place. I then went elsewhere and got the appropriate amount of money for the gold pieces.

I’m neither relative nor friend, I’ve been going there for years, yes they’re there to make money but, they’re extremely helpful, knowledgeable , family run great, nice people! They do have great deals, their Jewelry department is #1 in my family’s book. You won’t get better treatment in any other Pawn Shop. I have pawned stuff on a loan with no problems as well have bought stuff for great deals! I’ve had jewelry repaired, as well as bought jewelry with zero problems they stand behind their word! I’m always in there just to check things out or to have a watch battery changed, never been spoken to any way but very very friendly & helpful, Excellent service Excellent place! Highly recommend!
