the automated pharmacy system is the most frustrating thing I've ever called. you'll be on hold for 15+ minutes and your problem still won't be resolved, nor will you get anyone on the phone. it's ridiculous.

I broke a tooth earlier today and decided to go to the local CVS pharmacy, on Providence Street in West Warwick. When I asked about products for tooth pain, I expected someone to point me in the general direction because they were obviously very busy. Instead… one of the pharmacists paused for a moment to take me directly to the “tooth pain section” lol. (It’s clear that I don’t know much about pharmacies!) But I was very impressed with the personal service that I received at this CVS location. As busy as they all were, I felt like I was important enough to get the extra attention. And now, CVS will be my go-to pharmacy!

If I could give no stars that would most definitely be the correct amount. This location has the absolute worst and most unprofessional employees working. Specifically a manager or supervisor I'm not sure what seeing how she had nothing that reflected a cvs employee. No name tag, no badge, not even a cvs shirt. Hair was unkept she looked like she just walked in from the street. Shame on this store for allowing any employee to work without any identification. She had a horribly unprofessional attitude to match her entire look. Not a good look at all to anyone that manages this store someone needs to be visited by DM/corporate because obviously they aren't following nor understanding protocol.

Front of the store was left unattended for 15 minutes . I waited for someone and walk around the store and found no one .

A typical CVS outlet that's basically a glorified convenience store and neighborhood-level pharmacy. Besides your regular prescription needs, nothing in the store will be attractively priced relative to, say, Target or Walmart even if it's on sale or if you have coupons. But if you don't have the time to trek to a big-box store, then this is a convenient resource for health items, toiletries, cosmetics, packaged food, and drink. Don't forget to use any Extrabucks as soon as you can (yes, they're often buried in those 5-foot-long receipts) because they expire quickly. Note that most of the photos dominating this Yelp listing are generic photos uploaded by CVS Corporate and do not reflect this actual store - a violation of Yelp rules which Yelpers can't avoid but which companies can apparently pay to contravene.

waited 10 minutes at self check for a poor mannered associate to assist us. was checking out five other people and still didn’t come to see us to help when we needed assistance there was only one cashier and no other workers to be seen. will not be bringing my daughters back there again.

When you pay with a card, the system asks if you want to round up to donate to charity. The last few times I clicked round up but it didn't. Today I asked the cashier why it wasn't rounding up. She said she clicked no before I clicked round up. When I said I was trying to donate to the charity, she shrugged. Ok then.

Good place to shop. I live right around the corner so its very convenient for me. Always find what I need. Highly recommend. Friendly staff.
