I want to let the people reading know first that this review is from a purchase awhile ago but it seems like it still rings true off of the recent reviews.I am in current search of a new car and was curious if the one I got awhile back from Stevie D’s was just bad luck, but after seeing the reviews it wasn’t and I want others to be aware.I had bought a ford focus from them and just over a month after needed the whole engine replaced. Out of the first 30 days I had it about 14 were spent in their shop fixing problems. Sales guy was super nice but I highly recommend going elsewhere. All of their cars are patched up disasters waiting to fall apart on you.

Horrible business. I stopped what I was doing to make an appointment on Sunday, an appointment only day. I had told him exactly what we were interested in, and he said come on by, someone is coming to look at something else at 11. I told him we were driving over an hour to look at this Ford Focus. We got there early and someone with no appointment pulled up from their test drive in the vehicle I made an appointment to look at. He said “well he was here first”. That is horrible business. On an appointment only day you don’t take someone that’s there before us who have an appointment.

I always take my car here to get it fixed. One time my engine blew and I had to get it replaced. They told me about a warranty I didn't know about and told me to take it to another shop to get it replaced for free. LOVE THAT.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My sister bought a car from Stevie D’s and 2 months later the transmission has to be replaced. I drove it to the shop in limp mode, the mechanic there told us he would never recommend a vehicle from Stevie D’s to anyone. He said they are known for patchwork and usually require expensive repairs shortly after being sold. He said the vehicles they sell only pass inspection because the people preforming them are on their payroll. So, there’s that.In 2021, reviews are everything. It helps to make a decision for potential customers as to whether or not the business is trustworthy and stands behind the services they provide and TRUST ME, from experience, you guys better believe these 1 star reviews because ANY positive ones HAVE TO BE left by family/friends.

Almost the worst tow ever. Stevie pretended he didn't hear me when I asked him to tow to my mechanic on a police tow. Drove off without me and Immediately tried to store it to get a day of storage. Refused to bring to my mechanic 6 miles away for cash. And don't think the Warwick police aren't complacent if not outright participating. Hopefully AAA will reimburse me

Let me preface my review by saying first that I have never worked with a local business where the owner literally got involved, and paid special attention to the problem I was having. In late July I brought my sons car to him and he confirmed what we had believed to be true, that it needed a new engine. Fortunately I had purchased an extended warranty from Proguard with the vehicle, but anyone who has ever purchased an extended warranty knows the bureaucracy and hoops you need to jump through to have them actually cover anything at all, much less an engine. ***** somehow convinced Proguard to honor it, and over a six-week period of time, they sent him two engines. The first he refused to put in due to its poor quality, when he could have very easily put it, collected what he was owed and sent me on my way, but he didnt. The other that was sent was the wrong one all together, and at that point he contacted Proguard telling them he was going on the **** for one himself. He made my problem his, and kept me in the loop each step of the way. He called me every time he said he would, sometimes even after hours, to ensure I was aware of the status and where we stood with everything. I never had to chase him for an answer or update, all while he rallied and advocated on my behalf against Proguard. Thankfully, because of Steves guidance and diligence, we got the vehicle back from him yesterday, as he had promised upon his finding an engine earlier this week. In my opinion, ********************* went above and beyond to resolve my problem, and if youre looking for a mechanic with both knowledge and integrity, look no further than Stevie Ds Service - thank you, *****!

Firstly , It’s rare that I ever leave negative reviews. To be honest, I normally just let bad karma find those who have wronged me… However when it involves someone other than myself possibly being taken advantage of, I have a moral obligation to speak up.My husband knew Jim prior to purchasing a vehicle from him (Stevie D’s) and believed him to be a genuine person. Therefore, when Jim told my husband that the almost 6,000$ vehicle he sold him would be worth the money, my husband felt confident in his decision to do so. Needless to say, here we are… a little over 3 months and less than 1,000 miles later, I am without a vehicle. The transmission is gone. And yes, we made efforts to reach out to them, but they offer no resolution in fairness. It made it past the 30 day warranty so they see no reason to make their poor business practices right. As a stay at home mother, It was purchased for me to get my little girl to and from school and around warwick (where we live). Sadly, now we know, It wasn’t a good vehicle… it was, in fact, only patched to be sold. A man’s word is… well, just that, a man’s word. We do feel cheated. We aren’t rich people. We don’t have money to get a new one. We are just everyday people trying to get by. All I can tell you is….beware, be smart. Don’t be deceived by this place, they truly have no intentions other than profit in their pocket. Take care.

My close friends brother got his car towed by this company after a serious accident. Due to this, I have not been able to peacefully recover. After a couple of days of being in the hospital, he wanted to stop by and pick up some of his personal/expensive belongings from the car (promise ring, prescription ray ban eye glasses, homework, school supplies, expensive watch, juul, etc). For some reason, when we went in, the car key was not in the office, they refused to call the person that had the keys and told us to come back after weekend/monday, forcing us to pay for extra days because they didnt wanna call the guy. When we got back on monday after the weekend, we planned on scrapping the car anyways and we were told that he would get money from it. After signing the people work over to this company, they then told us that we would n out get any money for it unless we paid for the days and for the towing after they said we could get paid for scrapping the car, they went back on their word after he sign the paperwork. When Simply asking why would not get the money for scrapping the car, the employee proceeded to swear at us saying, "the car is a piece of s*** and we wouldn't get any f****** money for it anyways unless we paid him" we are disgusted at the treatment we received from this company, anyone who has a choice where their car gets towed, DO NOT go to this place. Unprofessional, bad service, liars, disrespectful. Terrible terrible place.

I bought a car for my son at Stevie D's. Jim our salesman was great. He went above and beyond what I expected from a car salesman. He help me out with issues I was having at the registry. I really was surprised and grateful for all he did for us. Thank you Jim!!
