I'm new to the state and having been looking for a new nail salon for the past four months. I decided to give them a try, and I believe I found my new favorite nail salon. This was my second time here, and I love how my nails come out. I get so many compliments. The only thing is, they don't have a private room to do eyebrows, but I can live with that.

Been a frequent flyer of Star Nails for over 20 years. Best service I have ever received. They are amazing with acrylics, gels, designs, and pedicures.??

I've only been going for a few months but hands down one of the best nails salons I've been to and I've been to quite a few. The pricing is great as well as the people that work there.

Thank you Kim for always doing a great job on my nails. In all the years (20) I've been going there I have always been happy. Some people don't like when they talk in their native language because the staff might be discussing them. Personally I don't care. They don't bother me when I converse in my native language.

A very disappointing experience today. I booked with the owner. I arrived 12 minutes late. She was with another client. I was willing to wait. After all I was a few minutes late. However I was told to sit elsewhere with another nail tech. I thought - ok she's just removing old nails. But then she actually started the SNS Dip powder nails. I asked the owner why someone else was doing my nails when I booked with her. I was told "She is just starting you - I finish". I was asked by the new tech "what color?". I referred her to the owner to explain specifically that I like them "natural with a pinker bed". The two converse in their native language and I believe this has been communicated. At the tail end of my SNS Dip nails, the owner comes over to "finish". My nails are clearly NOT done as I requested. She proceeds to fix them with a mixture of red and clear polish. This should have been done correctly the first time with the Dip powder mixture. I explain my dissatisfaction and disappointment and tell her I booked with her to avoid this from happening. However, she herself did not do my nails - someone else did, leading to a poor result. She then tried to blame me for the miscommunication. It was obvious she made the other client that she worked in & serviced during my scheduled appointment, her priority. She fit her in - taking my appointment. I will never go back. Very very poor customer service. She didn't honor my appointment and the outcome was not as I requested.

I have been going to Star for 30 years. They are a clean, friendly, professional establishment. I have moved away and travel back to see them because I have not been able to find a place that does as nice of a job as Star Nails. They treat their customers like family.Services: Nail polish changes

Poor sanitation; wound up with paronychia in my left thumb cuticle, middle left toe and right second toe all at the same time within a week after my mani/pedi. Very painful and all three had to be drained- essentially paid them to infect my nailsServices: Pedicure

While my dip mani and gel pedi came out very pretty, I felt that the pricing was really high considering the place run down, pedi chairs are very basic, super close together, nowhere to put your stuff and not super comfy. They use the dremel tool directly on your nail and don't sterilize it. As for the dip manicure, your nails are dipped directly into the jar instead of pouring on for sanitation and nothing is done to your your nails beyond filing (like soaking, pushing cuticles back, etc) and again they use the dremel tool directly on nails and skin. I chose gel on my toes because I noticed that there's nowhere to dry your pedi... $10 extra. $80 total for gel pedi and dip mani... then with tip you're almost at $100... you could get the same quality mani/pedi for same price (and sometimes less) with more sanitary practices and better quality equipment and atmosphere elsewhere.

Kim and Ben run a great shop! I have always been pleased with my services. Everyone is very professional and dedicated to making you happy, relaxed and comfortable experience. My favorite is Rose ??? and Tina does my pedicures ? ?. I've been a customer for awhile now - their daughter is in college now! ❤ ?P.s. Reminder: closed on Tuesday's and appointments required.

wouldn’t recommend iv had multiple bad experiences here i went in for a pedicure made an appt on the phone showed up to said appt and they said they didn’t have my name down. second time went for a pedicure get there asks if i want my nails cut down and i said yes she cut all the nails down got to my big toe and said it would be 5$ more to cut because she saw a SLITHER of the nail hanging on because i had stubbed my toe before coming i could literally pull the piece off myself but figured she would cut it down ( only did this cause she knew if i didn’t wanna pay the 5$ the nail polish woulda got messed) but when i declined she seemed surprised and started talking to the other coworkers and they all looked at me making the situation even more uncomfortable) she proceeded to cut the other toe nail down to the skin and when i spoke up and said one toe nails longer than the other she grabbed my toes and put them close to each other trying to tell me they they’re the same size regardless of it being Only 5$ i normally wouldn’t care but this specific location will up their price on spot for the dumbest reasons
