Love this location! Such a great selection and better prices than goodwill surprisingly! Michele is a sweetheart who is always so positive and friendly! She makes my day when I go there

Take some pride in your store. Every now and then I'll try and give this location a shot, and every time it looks like a store that was ransacked in a post apocalyptic movie.

Can I give Savers 0 stars? Even that would be too much. Finally gave up on this store after shopping there for years, mostly because the prices are ridiculous - it's a thrift store!
We know you need to turn a profit, but one of the reviews said they have to "clean" the items so there's work involved. That's a blatant lie. I know someone who worked there and they do dump the donation stuff out to look for something that's not legal --or maybe a cockroach or three -- but they do not wash that stuff.
Who would expect that? Don't care about that because I can wash the clothes, but come on!
*A new with tags top from Walmart priced at $12 that has a WALMART PRICE TAG of $7.98?
*A half burned Yankee Candle for $10? What?
*Oh, and $12.99 for an old bra just because it says Victoria's Secret on the tag? Dudes, it's 6-7 years old with sweat stains.
I remember when the pricing was fair. Not asking for .99 deals but how can you get this stuff for free, pay your employees minimum wage to throw it on a rack, and price things so high they sit for weeks? Then send out a 30% off coupon to try to move the stuff that is still overpriced with 30% off.
And that glass case in the front? LOL. An old, outdated iPad that can't get any updates anymore is $200. It's $199 for last year's generation at Best Buy next door (NEW!!). Some Juicy Couture shoes (sold at Burlington...they are junk) for $50 in the case. WHAT? A bent flute for 100s. A. BENT. FLUTE. LOL!!!
One of the grumpy managers was asked for a price on a used, wrinkly button-up shirt (J Crew, the tag inside next to the material tag will always show the manufacture year-- 2018!). He looked it up on eBay and said $20!!? He looked up the ASKING price from a delusional ebay seller not the sold price.
Really? That's not what they sell for, it's what someone is ASKING. Stop looking up prices on eBAY when you're supposed to be helping people in "need..."
No one in need wants a 6 year old shirt for $20. They go on sale at the J Crew factory outlet for $12 NEW.
You're pricing things for resellers to keep them out of the store -- but without them your sales would go down the drain.
The managers walk around like customers are imposing on them and the rest of the employees look like they are forced to be there against their will.
Savers, you're a joke.

Place is gross. Hiring a cleaning crew, or just start paying your employees enough that they care instead of looking like they hate the customers and their jobs.
Prices are goofy. Like nonsensical. The actual good deals here have become rare. You cant charge boutique prices when your place is consistently dirty, smells like an out-house, there's garbage all over the floors, and angry or depressed faces on every employee.
Honestly a cleaning crew wouldn't even be enough. I don't think you're gonna get the small out of there unless you gut the place. It's literally a depressing place to be.

Place is always cruddy. Every surface is grimy. The entire place smells like a slum. It does literally stink in there like you just evicted a family of 12 squatters after a 3 year legal battle and they're leaving it as gross as they can. Employees not only don't clean the place they walk right past garbage on the floor. Used Kleenex on the floor is like the center star on the Savers filth bingo card, It's like a 100% chance of seeing it every trip.
They're so worried about sanitation that they got rid of the changing rooms and were super strict about masks but they leave literal bio-hazards all over the floors. Last time I was there there was garbage blowing all round the entrance right at the front doors. If I were Best Buy I would complain to the property owners or the city.
The prices are delusional and frankly insulting on many things. They'll have an item still has a tag from the original store on it, say $4.99 and the Savers price tag will be like $6.99. We're not talking collector's items just basic items.
Most of the employees have bad attitudes especially the young men who walk around with a "tough guy" look on their faces when they aren't just acting rowdy and obnoxious. We used to make a weekly trip here. Not anymore. Done with this place.

Typical savers experience with slightly better prices than the east Providence location. Big parking lot & close to other stores. Can’t complain!

Filthy. Before you even enter there's literally garbage all around the front entrance just blowing around in the breeze. You have to walk on garbage to enter the building. Then when you enter, immediately to the right is more garbage underfoot by the shopping carts. The isles themselves aren’t filthy but definitely grimy and will often have used tissues and detritus lying about and being walked on. With how much they charge for used goods they received for free they could at least keep the place semi sanitary.

LOVE SAVERS. That's where 90% of my clothing comes from. Where else can you get five outfits and a pair of shoes for $60 or less?

Not sure why the review is under 4 stars- always have great experiences here! Bought so many great tops, jeans and shoes here!
Staff needs to be paid, and donations they received need to be cleaned. I don't think the price is bad like other people claimed here - yes donations are free, but there are other costs you don't see.

Place is a overpriced dump, everything is either full blown retail priced or cheap if it's broken or doesn't work, they get everything for free, talk about greedy

These stores are ridiculous, I wish they would go out of business for being so greedy. Dollar tree items for triple the amount?! Mental note to self: don't come back to this garbage pile, go buy it new, it will be cheaper or the same price.

If this store marked all of their items for $1 they would still make a huge profit, they get everything free. Used and abused things for the same price or higher than if you would get it brand new in the store. Shame on them for being so greedy.
