The other negative reviews on here are accurate. This company takes advantage of its customers and does not value their time or business at all. I pay for a service plan that includes an annual tune up. The company has come on an emergency call when my furnace completely broke, (likely due to lack of service) and hasn’t been back in now over 2 years. I have to take time off of work to accommodate for the 4 hour time windows they give when scheduling. My last “service visit” had been scheduled for LAST April. They called day of to cancel and rescheduled to November when, after missing work and waiting at home for another four hours, they cancelled at the end of the time window AGAIN and rescheduled to this April. They blew me off AGAIN today because their technicians apparently had the wrong times. Their communication between the main office and their technicians might as well be nonexistent. Customer service responds to emails with short unhelpful messages and no one from management ever calls to follow up, but they are very happy to take your money month after month for services that you never receive. BUYER BEWARE.

If I could give o stars I would. The absolute worst company to use. We would rather freeze to death then use them! Consumer beware of this company!!! We were badgered by Bob Collardo daily once we bought our new home until we signed on with them. Finally did. That was for oil. Then we needed propane for cooking. They refused to deliver until we signed a separate contract for that! Then they said we need to come out and check your stove to make sure it's safe. We said ok. They failed to mention there was a 99.00 fee for that. If you cancel early with them they charge 350.00 to terminate! We finally sold the house. We were owed the last money back for the leftover propane after closing. It took threatening with an attorney to get that money back. Michelle who is in the propane department refuses to answer any calls once your contract is signed..I could go on and on but have said enough. please don't use this company!

My technician was Josh G. He came to my house twice for service calls. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was very polite and professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything was functioning correctly before he left. What a great person to have representing your company.

I had the pleasure to have technician Don Blue service our home oil system today. I can’t recommend him enough! He went above and beyond to ensure that our heating issues were addressed and kept me up to date the entire time. Thank you for keeping our family warm!

A short time ago I had an emergency! My furnace was shut down immediately by a technician. He said it was totally plugged. He asked who was the last company to inspect the furnace.This is what led me to Petro. (A home inspection company hired Petro to do the inspection.)I called Petro and asked for their assistance. They said they can't help me unless I open an account with them.DO YOU THINK AT THAT MOMENT I WAS THINKING OF ACCOUNTS???I just needed heat in the house! I had freezing bursting pipes on my mind. It was an emergency for heaven sakes! If they had done a more thorough inspection to include checking for soot buildup, I would not have been in that position. I was livid!!!I wanted them to take responsibility since they were the last company that inspected it. Their inspection was minimal causing me to inherit a BIG problem. They were not helpful to me at all!

Frankly, Would give zero stars if possible. Left us and our 3 month old without heat for two days. On the first day they said they’d be here between 3:00-6:00. Arrived at 8:00 - we had to call them to find out about the delay. They were unable to fix the issue, and that night our house got down to 56 degrees. The next day we expected them at 3:30 with the part needed to fix it. They called at 4:00 to inform us that they would be there between 6:00-8:00. At 8:15 we called, and they said they would be there by 9:00. At 9:15 we called yet again, and they said they would be here by 10:00. Arrived at 9:57pm. Thank goodness the tech was great and knowledgeable but the company had rerouted him to another job before us, so we were up until almost 1am for them to fix it. Will not be using or recommending Petro to anyone.

I have a service contract with Petro. When I called them on September 20th for the annual service on my boiler, they told me they couldn't get to me until January 4th. Why bother to have a service contract? Worthless. I happened to have someone in the house making repairs to my mini-split and he offered to clean and tune my boiler (which I paid for).

My experience with Petro has always been great, my delivery came ahead of schedule. Driver took the time to explain to me the delivery process. Would highly recommend .

I just moved to west Warwick and always had gas, but now it's oil love this company had a service app the guy was awesome very helpful and learn a thing or 2 about oil really appreciate them. Great company. Thank you

owner very responsive and provided me a quote on 7/20, really great communication once he knew no quote provided on below:________________________On 6/14 at 10:30 AM I met with Equipment Specialist at my condo.After a call, 2 texts, and 2 emails, I am still awaiting a formal quote for the full replacement of a condenser and handler, including the warranties on parts and labor.I just needed something written to get the check written as I HAD wanted to proceed with Petro, due to their lack of responsiveness to me PAYING them, I will not proceed.

Worst experience and did not even get to work with them. Just keeping an appt was such a bad experience. The tech called me to confirm the appt and did not show. Wait, it gets better. Ken, the tech, said that knocked on my door and left me a voicemail. I sat for 20 minutes in the yard with my cell in my hand. I will never contact Petro for anything. They lost a big sale!!!Frustrated that left work early to meet this clown.
