I would say Im relatively new to Rhode Island and I'm certainly not well versed in car lingo or issues. My dad use to handle all of my car stuff but now Im on my own and Im so glad I stumbled upon this place when i first moved here 2 years ago. My first inspection visit was great, no car issues and it was done quick. This year I've unfortunately had car troubles, and those are not typically cheap. Money was a huge concern for me, especially after the holiday season. This being said, they worked with me the best they could (which was way more than most shops would do) to get my vehicle up and running for it to pass inspection in time. Above and Beyond service and I will be forever thankful and loyal! I urge anyone looking for an honest shop, who actually cares and understand the troubles that we all can face when dealing with our cars ( and life), to give them a chance. **ps. My Dad approves

This is one of the few garages I've gone to where I don't feel taken advantage of. They've never pushed unnecessary services. Their pricing is on par, and usually lower than most other places around. This is the garage I recommend to anyone in the area.

I was quoted around $2,000 for a brake job at a local dealership. I gave Automotive engineering a call and they gave me a quote for less then half the price they dealership quoted me. Their work is precise, they use quality parts, and they stand by their work. Can’t ask for anymore, thank you Automotive engineering specialties for your expertise in the field and getting my truck back on the road in a timeline manner and for a beyond fair price!

A oil change company stated I needed a oil compression unit..AES put a quality oil filter on my car..So much for an oil compression unit..Ty.. I will be coming back for service

Great shop! Hard to find an honest mechanic but I feel like I did here . They explained the issue with my car in a way that was easy to understand for a person that doesn't know anything about cars. Their prices were fair and a little below what another shop quoted me. I will definitely be using them in the future!
