Staffed by competent, no-nonsense type people. They do quality work, and fast. I had an oil change done in less than an hour, and they fixed the check engine light. I was also given a sheet with diagnostic codes that the computer returned. Useful to have. It was a little on the pricey side (but I do drive a VW and I know foreign cars are more expensive to work on). But overall, happy with the experience.

Monro shops in general seem to have gone WAY down in the area of service. They don't ever seem to care much whether you come or go or whatever. Attitude seems to be: I'll collect my paycheck no matter how unhappy you are, so I'll treat you any way I please. I'm giving up on this company.

Dropped car off for new tires and oil change. Appointment was for 11am. I asked if they would call when it was done, he said yes. 3:30 comes along and still no call. Called to ask a time frame and he says oh yea it’s all set. All four wheels had nicks from minor to medium damage.

Bunch of crooks !! Stay away ! Took SUV for inspection , suv passed inspection but they stole the catalytic converter!! Denied they had it then after police were called it magically reappeared three days later and they called us to come get it!Don’t you need a catalytic converter lot pass inspection?They were hoping we wouldn’t notice and had welded a straight pipe in its place.

They never bothered to send video of dysfunctional new tires to warrantee company so my claim was denied and I had to pay $1100 myself

Do not bring your car or truck here. Only out to scam you for your money…I brought my truck here for a simple inspection with a flawless truck and was failed because my plate light was a little dull and a cv joint boot had a small rip in it….absolute worst shop I’ve been to. I am also a mechanic and what they are doing over there is outright stealing your money

Got an appointment for tires for 11am Saturday. Specified the tires i wanted online. Got there at 11:04, checked in at 11:10. Asked if I wanted to stay or come back, “I’ll stay.” “Ok it’ll be a bit.” 12:45 he finally pulls my car into the bay, comes in, “You wanted the Iron Man tires, right?” “Yep.” “Oh those aren’t in stock, you’ll have to come back in a few days, unless you want some other [more expensive] tires.” Great, his scam just stole 2 hours of my only free day of the week. Don’t do business with this ripoff artist.

Never performed the alignment I requested but no explanation provided.Made appointment for 730am and no one showed up to open the shop until 836amProvided me no explanation or suggestion of repairs but failed inspection "Exhaust too loud"-- unmodified stock BMW M sport exhaust from the factory.No communication and rude customer serviceWent to a competing national chain (Firestone) and inspection passed immediately, after I had to print out a new RI DMV registration because Monro kept mine without providing it back to me ( I probably could have gone back to get it days later but dealing with anyone in this shop was too aggravating)Worst automobile service I can recall. Avoid this location at all costs!

made an appointment on the phone for car inspection at 5:00pm. The guy on phone asked for my name and phone number and told me it was all set. I showed up for my appointment for the guy to tell me we have to many inspections and won't be able to do it. I told him i made an appointment & he didn't event acknowledge that. What was the point of getting my name & number while making the appointment if no one was going to call me to tell me that they were to busy? makes no sense. Will NOT be going back. Waste of time.

Second time this has happened here. Spoke to mechanic the night prior just looking for an oil change and he confirmed he would personally be in to open at 7:30AM, and it was first come first serve. Just stood in the parking lot with two other customers for 45 minutes and no one showed up. Came on here to read reviews afterwards and wishing I had done it beforehand.Don’t take you’re vehicle here, they don’t care enough about their job/company to open within an hour of their posted service hours, imagine how little they will care for you or your car.

Do not get your inspection done here, the inspector on duty is unqualified and will fail you for reasons unknown. The front desk has reasonable customer service and you can expect the service writer to be respectful, however, the inexperienced inspector outweighs the pros in this case. As an ASE certified master technician I can report that my car was in peak condition upon arrival here. I was failed for plate lights and an exhaust leak. Exhaust leaks are checked visually here and are not determined by actual confirmed leakage, as for the plate lights, upon leaving, the plate lights worked with no problems. I am unsure of the quality of this technicians work, but given his lack of attention to detail, I doubt that he's capable of good work. I would avoid this business. They will cheat you, don't let them.

Brought my car in for a smoke test. They found the leak- replaced the part. 750$. I called after a week, I had the same evap code. They said they would call me and never did. I brought it to another mechanic, he said "there's for sure an evap leak still." So, I called munroe and asked if there was any record of another leak when they performed the smoke test. He responded "we replaced the part". Thats not what I asked, so I asked again. He said it would be hand written if it was ever done, so he would look and call me back. I would bet another 750$ I won't ever get a phone call. The person that answers the phone there is extremely difficult to speak with.Basically, long story: I'm pretty sure I spent 750$ to replace a part I did not need to replace, they did not do a smoke test (the sole reason I brought it here), and now I'm looking for another shop to preform a smoke test, and probably paying another 700 dollars elsewhere to fix the actual problem.I would NOT recommend bringing your vehicle here. They lack communication, and its impossible to trust someone that can't even answer a simple question over the phone.

Stood outside from 7:30 to 8:30 waiting for it to open. called customer service twice. Could not give me a time estimate or valid reason as to why or how much longer i needed to wait. Decided to walk two miles home and still calling for my car thats currently held hostage. NEVER AGAIN !

Made an appointment for 9am, oil change only. Dropped it off promptly and came back after 11am...no oil change and the employee made no attempt to give me an estimated time of when it would be done. Horrible horrible customer service. It's just an oil change..am i missing something?? Apparently they can turn away good customers. Wow.
