In life you need a good doctor and a mechanic you can trust, and George fills the second bucket. Hands down the nicest guy you will find! He really wants you to be happy and will make any amends if you arent satisfied. Also, he tries very hard to keep his prices down, esp for gas (well needed today!). The world needs more men like George.

It is Christmas Eve, the low tire pressure light came on in my car and we are headed to Boston for Christmas tomorrow. I drove to George's after finding out that he seems to be the ONLY place in the area open today. I could not believe how gracious and helpful George was, as was a member of his team who happened by for gas as he was off today. George was so busy with gas, his team member volunteered to help me with the tires and did so. Neither would take any kind of gratuity as a thank you for helping me out today. I have not had this kind of experience in a long time. It is so heartening that there are people like this around and I want to thank George and his team member (sorry that I did not get his name) and offer kudos to them. Oh, and a Merry Christmas too!

Can’t recommend highly enough. We ran over a screw while visiting the area for my birthday. I called and it turned out the garage was closed, but they went out of their way to help us and we were able to enjoy the day with barely a hiccup. I am so grateful and I can’t promise they’ll always open when they’re closed, but I know they’re honest and do what they can to help.

I’m new to the area, so I was a bit concerned about finding a good shop because I know nothing about cars. George and his staff have been absolutely amazing! Extremely helpful and my mind is at ease because I know my car is in great hands!

He asked you what you do for a living before he tells you how much it is going to cost after he does the work. Apparently, It is well known that George rips people off. I wish I saw all the reviews before I brought my truck there. I was charged twice the amount a dealership charged me for the same job. Don't be conned by George. It's ok to get Gas there if you must.He will never get any of my business again.

George is a real genuine guy. I came up here from New Jersey to visit family and my tire belt blew. George came in on his day off, put the car on the lift and gave me several recommendations and asked for no money. Such an amazing guy!

I called George after another car service store turned me away for not having the time to deal with my issue (ended up being a blessing in disguise because i found the best local car mechanics store! George’s!!) i called George in a frantic state as I had only less than a week to get my car inspected and fix the Mass Air flow check engine light! George immediately came to the rescue and did everything promptly and outstandingly! I was quoted $675 for my repairs on Monday and on Friday I was charged $1200. I had to call for updates during the week since I was not contacted. Folks are busy, I get it, but when I spoke to the owner last night there was no mention of the cost being nearly twice what I was quoted. When I approached him after noticing the receipt, he was very defensive and kept asking "what do you want me to do". Simply let me know, because that is a lot of money to me and I wouldn't have had the repairs done on the car. As a single woman I have had all kinds of experiences with mechanics, but this takes the cake.

I am proud to say I had my brakes fixed at George's Gas. I originally thought I had a bearing problem, turned out it was a simple as a brake job. George uses fantastic parts from Napa and charges a very fair labor rate. I have had my RI state inspections and a couple oil changes done here, however, I trust him to be a fair and honest mechanic and business owner. He is generous to the community and a fair businessman. I am a veteran who has lived in many places in this country and I will say that I have never been to a better privately owned mechanic - hands down, I trust his answers and work!

George has kept my old car running smoothly and diagnosed and fixed many problems over the years. I also go there for gas. The service is consistently excellent and the prices are always fair. George is an honorable man.
