Went to the south county store and met with a extremely knowledgeable young lady. She answered all my questions and adjusted my monthly bill. If you have questions regarding cox I highly recommend this store.

This is a horrible company. I am canceling my account ASAP. They will not solve simple problems and are just a big company with no respect to their customers even though they are providing essential communication services.

Installer could not run the cable thru the pvc pipe to my house. He installed the system with Orange cable by running the cable on my lawn and reported the install complete and told me some would run the cable thru the pipe the next day. Of course nobody showed up the next and when contacted Cox,s stupid chat box they claimed the installation was complete and I needed to pay for any additional support. Cox Cable , you can’t depend upon them.

You'll be disappointed if you go with Cox. We've had Cox for as long as I can remember, but their rates keep going up for lousy service. I work from home and am disconnected so often or deal with such lag. We pay for phone, TV, and internet. What sent me over the edge was that an online chat agent accidentally shut down all my services. I called the 800 number and the first rep I spoke to charged me a $125 equipment fee again - even though I already had their old equipment - he said it was their only option to getting my original account back and restore my services. I was transferred to a woman who wasted time asking me all the same questions only to transfer me again. I finally ended up speaking to another woman who said their first employee set up 2 new accounts for me rather than reviving my original account. She was also shocked to hear I was charged for equipment fees. But she couldn't just refund my credit card, she said she could only put the credit back to my Cox account to pay for future bills. But having changed accounts and then sent back to my old account, my billing history was wiped. So, they attempted to charge me for the month of June a second time. The $125 credit was posted to it. So, once again, I tried online chat and the rep named Carlos O. was (1) not understanding my issues, (2) misspelling everything, and (3) arguing with me. I explained I was double charged on equipment fees and double charged for the month of June - he kept saying I wasn't double charged on equipment fees because $125 was too low - it would have been upwards of $400.After several hours on chat and on the phone, I realized how unhelpful and incompetent a lot of their technical staff are. Each person just kept making my issue worse. I have since switched to Verizon for phone, TV, and internet. Their pricing is cheaper and the employees I have dealt with thus far are actually professional and knowledgeable. No issues with internet yet either! My coworker also uses Verizon. So, here's my warning that will hopefully save you the headache - or I should say migraine - that you'd get from dealing with Cox.EDIT: 07/12/2023We terminated ALL our services in June and I returned the equipment on 06/13/2023, but they're still trying to charge us close to $300. They are charging equipment fees for the THIRD time. The first time was when we originally got Cox. The second time was when Cox accidentally turned off all our services and in order to get my account back, they said they had to charge us the equipment fee again that would be credited back to us - which they later said they could not credit back to us. Now, they're charging equipment fees AGAIN even though I returned the equipment and I have the receipt to prove it. Amazing, right?

Avoid at all costs if you're a gamer. They're internet heavy lags a couple/few times a day and just straight goes out at least once a day. I have a new $700 mesh router and their best internet plan. Their internet is astonishingly terrible. Changing to Verizon very soon

We went in to change a COX cable and internet package to a simpler, less expensive option. The lady working with us was very nice and she provided some options to get to the desired price point. She needed some help to get that in the system, but after a bit, she was able to get us what we needed. She was very nice and very friendly.

The people working here are nice and helpful, but inflation is through the roof and suddenly my “promotional discount” expired because I had internet for a year so now my rates are going on - Cox obviously makes record profits, a poor choice for the time to choose to jack up the rates

The Cox lady helped us get our bill down to a somewhat more manageable amount and helped my son get set up in his rental.
