Artistic Hair Design was recommended to me when we first moved to Wakefield in 2016. Like so many others, I was worried whether or not, I would find someone that would do my hair to my liking. Ever since my first visit with Sherry, I have been beyond satisfied with her friendliness, competence, and on-time rate. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I would recommend their services to anyone. In fact, yesterday I observed one of the beauticians phoning a customer to let them know she was running a little bit behind. That's above and beyond.

I switched to Artistic Hair Design because my former salon kept raising prices beyond my budget. I've been very happy with the cut and color that I have gotten from Amy and I'm saving a lot of money even though I drive a little farther. The shop staff are all very friendly with customers and each other making the experience very pleasant and relaxing. Very clean shop and convenient parking. Got my hair cut here the other day and I thought initially that it was good, but as I’ve been going about my day the past couple days I noticed how choppy and uneven it is. Horrible haircut makes my head feel weird. Going to spa mosaic instead to get it fixed which is where I normally go. I don’t recommend this spot unless you don’t care about how your haircut turns out.

Brandy has been my hair stylist for several years, with Sherri filling in as needed. Both women are excellent colorists and stylists. I highly recommend Artistic Hair Design. I have been to several hair salons over the last 7 years since I moved out of CT. I am so happy to have found Amy at Artistic Hair Design in Wakefield Rhode Island. She does an amazing job on my hair. I never feel rushed. The atmosphere is relaxing laid back yet professional. They took all the required precautions during the pandemic. My difficult hair, and I, have a long standing fear of hair salons. ( well founded) Went here, yesterday and I will be returning for as long as I can physically get there! I'm very pleased with this haircut. The hair artist is Sherry, btw.
