Made my appointment for 2pm and when I arrived at the place they told my my appointment would have to be postponed by 30 minutes because Jennifer Lawerence's family was getting their hair and makeup done for her wedding there. A call ahead would've been nice especially considering the fact that I did not only wait 30 minutes for my appointment but rather an hour. It seemed as though every time I was told "only five more minutes" an extra 30 got tacked on. I am extremely disappointed by this and will not be making an appointment here again. Do not expect your reservation to be held.

Thank you so much Wavelengths Team for doing an amazing job styling my hair and my friends' hair last Saturday for the Victorian Masquerade Ball. I loved the Gibson Girl hair style D'Ann created for my hair. It was a work of art. I told her my vision, she instantly got it and then took it to the next level! The hairstyle went so well with my Victorian gown and it didn't budge all night, even after all the dancing I did. I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the evening. Highly recommend this salon for special event hair dos!

I had Nicole and she was phenomenal. She was funny and sweet. My hair cut was AMAZING. I have pretty difficult hair and she handled it and the result was beautiful!

I have very curly, thick medium length hair. Mallory did a fabulous job with my blowout for a holiday party. In 45 minutes, my naturally curly hair was unrecognizable- incredibly smooth with just the right amount of loose curls at the end. My hair did not frizz at all that rainy night, and still looked like I stepped out of wavelengths after flying home to the west coast the next evening. I highly recommend this salon and Mallory!

I had a same day appointment with Mallory for a balayage color, cut, and style. I have very dark hair and was apprehensive about how the color would turn out but Mallory did a fantastic job. The entire appointment was three hours, and Mallory was very fastidious about blending in the color, ensuring that my final look was lightened up in a incredibly natural-looking. I will say that this whole operation was expensive, but worth every penny. If you have Asian hair in need of fresh color, see Mallory!

I would Not recommend this place you will be Very Disappointed with the service. I went for a blow out & was bumped from the owner that apparently over booked her schedule, need I say how upsetting this was since it was a Sat at 5:00 prior to my event I was to attend. She could of cared Less!! The second experience was getting my lashes dyed that stylist fell asleep in the room while the lashes were curing. This is completely unexceptionable. Terrible Service!! They are clueless how to treat the clients.

Our wedding party of 12 had a wonderful experience on wedding day! Staff was waiting for our arrival and as excited as we were! D'Ann put out a nice piece of brei and strawberries as well as champagne and a coffee cake! Tea and coffee were offered as well! We had appointments for both hair and makeup, lashes included. Great job and right on schedule!! Highly recommend!

I was desperately in need of an updated look. I walked into the salon and Dee happened to be at the front desk when I came in for a consultation.. she told me what she thought I needed so I made my appt with her.. I was a bit nervous at first but she made me feel totally comfortable with what she wanted to do.. she gave me a updated haircut and corrected the bad color I had.. I been told I look a lot younger!! She is an amazing and talented stylist! Thanks Dee!!

I was celebrating my anniversary in Newport and wanted my hair done before dinner. I am so happy that I chose Wavelenths! They have wonderful products(Bumble and Bumble) that they use on their customers...which to me is important. My stylist Nicole treated me as if we have been friends for years... which made me comfortable. I was very happy with my hair and it looked great the next day too! I thought it was nice that the owner mentioned to me how great my hair looked on the way out for not being a regular!

This is the best salon in Rhode Island. I would absolutely recommend Wave Lengths to anyone! D'Ann the owner is wonderful. She is caring and professional. I am extremely picky about my hair and this is the only place I will go. I have had highlights, color, trims, blow outs, keratin treatments, pedicure, manicures, and facials here - not once have I ever had a bad experience. The entire staff is excellent. The interior of the salon is beautiful. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

Wavelengths Salon and Spa is a gorgeous salon with exemplary staff. I go see Maya for my lashes and she does exactly what I want and they last- which was an issue I had experienced before... not with Maya! In addition, wherever I go I get complimented on my lashes. I also see Ashley Rose for my facials, she not only has the LED Light Treatment but her facials are relaxing and my face doesn't feel dirty from all of the oils after, my face feels soft and like the facial did something. I totally recommend Wavelengths for any salon and spa treatment!
