We have a very large, young, male dog who is particular and still learning, so we had some special requests (to be let in and out without other dogs around, doesn’t do well with male drs, to use a muzzle during care) that were accommodated without question! He received vaccines, which he is not a fan of and had blood work that went exceptionally well because of the kind, patient and caring nature of the tech Marina and Dr. Fielding. When we moved to RI and finding a new Vet was stressful but we couldn’t be happier with Abbott Valley and will be with them forever! Thank you from all of us, especially Enzo!”

“I have been going to Cumberland Animal Hospital for several years and I am always impressed with care my dog receives and how thorough the examinations are. They are patient and answer all questions we have. Dr. Marques is the absolute best. The compassion and dedication she shows is better than 5 stars. When my dog was ill and trying to figure out the cause she would call me weekly on her drive to work just for an update and to make sure she was improving. Good news was she determined the cause of the illness and my dog is doing great. If I could give Dr. Marques more than 5 stars I would!!!”

“I really appreciate the entire staff here. I recently moved from FL and have had the same vet for my dog his whole life. Shortly after moving, he suffered a back injury from crawling under the new bed frame (his first big injury too). I was a nervous wreck and brought him in 2-3 times along with making multiple calls to ask questions. I'm sure I was annoying them but they were so kind and understanding with us.

Dr. Megan Monteiro and the staff were nothing but compassionate and patient with me and my dog. She checked him out and made her suggestions, we then did xrays after he didn't improve 10 days later. Thankfully he didn't need surgery, I was told to be patient and continue to monitor him. If he didn't improve we could MRI or seek other treatment but they suggested medication and complete rest. It's been 8 weeks and he is finally back to 100%. I am so relieved and truly appreciate having a well-trained, caring and compassionate vet to bring my boy to. While I was nervous at first, I fully trust the guidance of this team. Highly recommend VCA Atwood. Also, the facility is always super clean. Thank you for all that you do!”

“Took my 13 year old Collette here for the first time the other day for a wellness check-up ....I had a Dr.Rodehorst who was very gentel ( a must ) withy my girl....asked all the right questions and made no sudden movements witch can be alarming to a 13 year old....staff is very friendly....place is very clean...I will be making an appointment in a few months for Collette's son Jason for a wellness checkup”

They were so caring and the doctor called me prior to the surgery and right after the surgery to assure me that Gracie was doing well which made me feel so good. They were able to fit him in the same week. All of the staff were very friendly, patient and professional. They treated my horse so well. They were able to figure out what was wrong with him, something that our last vet should not have missed. Their prices are very fair and their clinic is extremely clean and organized. Because we are so far, we had to trailer in, but it was so worth it. I will continue to trailer my horses in and I will never use another vet again. “Best animal hospital I've ever used. After moving I used animal hospitals closer to me. After my last experience with Vetco in Smithfield, I decided just to drive a few miles more to use North Smithfield Animal hospital again. The staff is great and very nice. Dr. Allen is a great vet, very open and compassionate, and took great care of my Siamese kitten when I had her spayed. Prices are cheaper than what you pay at a chain of animal hospitals. I highly recommend North Smithfield Animal Hospital!”

“The Vets at Ocean State Equine have been up to my boarding facility in Freetown, Massachusetts to see my horse, Duke, 2 times. The Vets and their Vet Techs really know horses and they work quickly and efficiently. They are really nice people.They are also gentle and patient with Duke. All they do is horses and ponies, so you know your horse is going to get the best care.”

I brought my dog in today to get checked out due to declining health and they helped us give her a proper and peaceful goodbye. They were compassionate and gentle. I think they are a little more expensive than most, that said it's been close to a year since I needed the services of a vet.What they could do is to give outside sign a professional paint job. While on the subject, the exam room needs some attention also. All in all..they are all well versed professionals.”

“Had such a great experience with VCA Atwood animal hospital. I have never written a yelp review before but created an account just for this. My dog suffers from seizures and they can be triggered when he is stressed but it is unpredictable when they will happen. I had an appointment scheduled today for an issue with his paw, however two minutes after I walked into the office my dogs seizures were triggered. Immediately the vet and tech were in the waiting room with me, picking up my dog and carrying him back for treatment. They continued to keep a staff member with him for the next two or so hours. They set up a blanket in a room so I could be with my dog but still had someone in there watching over him just incase another seizure occurred. I am so thankful the care my dog received tonight.”

“There is alot of Veterinarian services out there if you Google veterinarian in Rhode Island do come up with a lot of places to choose from .But you can't search great customer service .This veterinarian doctor is one of the most friendliest Educated specialist in her field what I've ever met in my entire life .
