“Honda CRV’s ac was blowing warm on driver’s side and cold on passenger side. Took to J&S on Pontiac last year and they installed a new blend door. Car still blew warm. They then told me it needed a total repair and quoted 4K! I said no way and drove it as is for the rest of the summer. A friend recommended Park Ave Auto so I decided to get a second opinion from them. Chris was honest and straightforward and said he would have his technician do an assessment.Long story short, they replaced the expansion valve for $588 and the ac is working like brand new! Can’t recommend them enough! Excellent customer service and they were wonderful communicating all through the process.”

I had called around about a half dozen places for a couple of weeks. Only Eddy had the used tire I was looking for, and at a great price. The shop was open on a Saturday, allowed drop ins, and I was all set in about a half an hour. Really nice guys working there, really couldn't ask for more!”
“A long overdue review. Charlie's is the best auto service center that I've ever used. I've been bringing my car and my daughter's for several years, and each time, the work and pricing is terrific. Jay goes the extra mile to find reasonably priced parts. As an example: we replaced the taillight on my daughter's car today. Jay located a used lamp, saving me $300. Finding reasonably priced and trustworthy auto repair services can be challenging and I feel like I've found a hidden gem with Charlie's!!

“Dory is the absolute best. I had the misfortune of a screw in the sidewall of my tire and had already been to two other places that could not help me. I was immediately inspired by Dory's competence and kindness. She walked with me to check out the kaputt tire, helped me figure out my options, and while they did not have a tire in stock in that particular store, she sent me to a nearby TFT where she had previously worked, and like magic, I was back on the road. “Since I live very close to the shop, I've gone to the tire doctor for the tires on a couple of my cars and always gotten great service. I will admit that both times they didn't have the exact size I needed for my car in stock but were able to get it quickly. One of my tires had an issue with a slow leak after replacement and Tire Doctor took the car right away and fixed the issue at no cost. Highly recommended!!”
“Love the guys here. Straight forward and honorable. Their costs are great and not overpriced, like some other garages in the area. Honest instead of hostile. Friendly. Never have a problem getting a sticker, but it's easier to make an appointment than walk in. I trust their work. They did a muffler for me, on a jeep. I was thrilled with the quality.”

“I was visiting family this past week in Providence from Connecticut for New Year's so I'm quite unfamiliar with the area, of course when I tried heading back my car didn't start. My dad tried looking at the car but had no luck so I ended up having to get it towed and taken to a mechanic. One of my friends recommended J.M. Auto Repair so I had the tow drop it off there. When I got there I told them what happened and how it wasn't starting and they understood and started working on the car. They told me that the battery in my car was dead so I got worried because I have a pretty old car (2016 Honda Civic) but luckily they had the battery in stock and put a brand new one in there. These guys were super fast and took like 10 minutes to finish the whole thing so would recommend it if you need something small done, 10/10.”

The team was flexible around drop off and pick up, with the overall cost of the work being in line with market rates. Overall a great experience and we will bring our cars their again.”

I had a minor issue with the tire pressure, and brought it back and the adjusted the pressure for no charge. I highly recommend getting tires or getting service from here.”
