I received excellent. quick and caring service from the Greenville office. I am disabled without easy access to transportation; they made it possible for me to file & complete my taxes while hardly leaving my home for which I am most grateful!

The manager or whoever runs this place is horrible. She made a big deal about parking right in front of the building because I was going to go into the ups store first and then file my taxes there. I don’t recommend anyone to come to this H&R Block. Such a horrible lady who threatens to call the cops for the smallest inconvenience. I’ll do buisness elsewhere! No wonder she had no one there. Negative stars.

As long as everything works properly. This is a great app. However, when there are technical difficulties, it makes it hard to use the app.

I recently saw an ad post with someone in the comments complaining about Michelle Lombardi. I had Michelle do my taxes a couple years ago and I can say without a doubt it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve worked in customer service for 8 years. I came in and had extra forms to file and I wanted some clarification from a tax professional. The front desk lady was kind and telling me how slow the day was, and yet Michelle flat out ignored my greeting, repeatedly shushed me for asking any questions and acted like she had no time to help me, when I did manage to get a question out she’d explain it to me like I was a belligerent toddler for not understanding something I was paying her to explain to me, and was all around hostile and aggressive to me the whole time to where I just wanted the interaction to end and leave because I was flat out afraid of her. I paid and left in tears and called customer service because I still hadn’t had any of my questions answered. They escalated the issue, and then Michelle called my personal cell phone number to scream at me for escalating a report on her and claimed I was committing fraud. I called back customer service and a couple days later the “regional manager” called me and said he was so sorry and that they had repeated issues with Michelle violating policy and offered me a full refund and said that I could have my taxes done for free the next year. I declined the free service and just asked for a refund, I never received it and no info came up when I tried to inquire. I cannot believe Michelle is still employed there after all these reviews talking about her unhinged behavior and the fact she clearly went into my file and took my personal information to antagonize me. I’m a Smithfield local and I tell all my friends to avoid this location, please go somewhere that values their customers safety and privacy.

Michele Lombardi was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful! I would highly recommend working with her for your taxes and would highly recommend using H&R Block in general!

I go to HR Block Smithfield RI every year. Michelle takes care of my taxes. She is absolutely great. My taxes are done correctly and on time each year. I would not go to anyone else

I used to go here every year to have my tax returns done... But no more. Once I realized how overpriced their service was I found a local accountant that prepares my returns for less than half the price.... And I don't have to wait around to see someone.

$5,000 in mistakes!!!! Worst tax experience I’ve ever had was here with Michele Lombardi. She absolutely raced through my tax return and became frustrated every time I asked a question which demonstrated an error had been made on her end. Called my phone and emailed daily to “just pay the fee before you can see your return.” Thank god I followed my gut… her number was $5,000 off after going to another business to get them done properly. Disappointed in H&R Block after using them exclusively for years and only having good experiences previously, as this time around they wouldn’t allow me to change representatives after such a bad experience. Will never return but felt compelled to steer others away for their own sake!

Clearly Michele Lombardi is over worked and tired .. told me the price it would be to do my taxes and I started asking questions and she turned into a rude A hole — told me “I have other clients” to which I told her “ah okay the reviews are correct then”She acted surprised to hear about the reviews … then actually brought them up so she does read these. Hope she gets some rest when tax seasons ends.

I can't help but read the low life comments from some of these scumbags. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I have nothing but praise! You can't go anywhere and get free service. Even advice cost money. And, I can tell you, tax professionals in the business don't set the price you pay. They are all hourly employees, just like you. The prices are set by the companies, and are the same no matter who does your return. H&R Block is a company for profit. If you don't want to pay for someone to complete your taxes, then do it yourself. Tax professionals have to follow IRS rule. If you don't like it to bad. They're not going to commit fraud because you don't like the outcome. I won't trust anyone but Michele and the staff at this office. Great A+ Service!

Michele Lombardi is the best!!! I wish I had found her years ago, she has been filing my taxes for me for the past three years, and even though I've been filing with H&R Block for my entire work history (24 years) I wish that I had found her sooner! She is always available whenever I have questions (even when its outside of the normal tax season) answering them all with professionalism and expertise! She is always very kind and courteous, responds fast, and gets my taxes filed quickly. Did I mention that this is all done electronically, without the need to go into the office? I love that I can email documents to her or upload them directly to the site and she takes care of everything from there! I can't say enough good things about her, and I have been referring everyone I know to her since the first time she handled my taxes for me! Seriously, shes the best!!

Michele Lombardi was extremely rude and unprofessional at my appointment this morning. After checking in, she greeted me with a, "Can I help you?" that sounded like she was annoyed with me. During our quick meeting she huffed at me for having questions, did not give me an answer or listen past my first question, and dismissed me with frustration. She said that there isn't anyone that can give me tax advice. I asked if I should take my questions instead to a cpa, a finance advisor, or a tax lawyer and she said that there is no professional that would help me with my taxes. I walked out only 5 minutes into our appointment feeling insulted. I went to the meeting for questions and for help filing a state tax form but I didn't even bother asking about the filing because she acted disgusted with me upon arrival.For the record, I arrived in professional attire with a few papers with me. I opened my business 9 years ago and have done my taxes on my own up until now when I needed clarification.When I got home I called turbotax's helpline. For free they answered all of my questions with ease and in 10 minutes. Most of my questions were about how to categorize atypical expenses for my small business (items damaged in mail, travel that included business and vacation, etc.)
