“I made the mistake of purchasing two new tires for the front of my car from a local tire dealer and suffered terrible vibrations at both low speed and highway speeds. The whole car would shake while driving. I brought the car back four times and they were unable to fix the problem. I was told that the new tires had flat spots on them, so they replaced the tires again. Still the problem occurred!

I was then told that the rims were bent and needed to be replaced. That's when I went to Melvin's Tire in Smithfield, RI. Dwyane was excellent! Within 30 minutes, his technician checked the wheels and determined they were not bent. They checked the new tires and determine they were fine as well. However, they did find that the previous dealer I bought the tires from failed to remove all of the old adhesive wheel weights from inside the wheels, which was causing excessive road force and vibration.

Once they cleaned the wheels of all the old weights, they easily rebalanced them and the car road tested fine with no further vibrations. That settles it! From now on, all my tire work and maintenance goes Melvin's Tire, Smithfield. These guys know what their doing and I don't mind paying good money for superior work! Thanks Dwayne!”
