“This lovely shoppe is co-owned by two women who are RISD grads. Everything in the store is handmade, including candles, jewelry, blankets and wall art. It's hard to choose what to buy because everything in there is gorgeous and high-quality. I chatted with a friendly sales associate named Beth who not only told me all about the store's history, but also suggested local eateries and scenic views so that I could get the full Pawtuxet Village experience. I envision myself being a repeat customer here!”

“Great selection of gifts and home goods! They have an especially notable selection of great cookbooks. On my last visit here, I picked up a copy of "Melted Cheese" containing recipes for my most beloved food. Service was very quick and friendly! Some of the items seem a bit overpriced, but other items are reasonable. In the past, I have purchased some small dishes for entertaining in cool finishes such as a bright gold to use for appetizers. Great place to stop in where you're in downtown Providence.”

“Just shopped at this cute little store for a gift for my future daughter in law who couldn't be here for the holidays ..she is from the Midwest and came for Christmas last year, couldn't come this year..picked her out some cute wave earring, an RI T-shirt, and a dishtowel...Local is the best! The girl wrapped it and was very kind...will be back and tell all my friends & family to shop here!!!”

“What a fun little store! We stumbled upon this shop after dinner while walking downtown providence. One side of the store is filled with home decor and jewelry and the other side has clothing, sunglasses, hats, etc. You can easily spend over an hour here. My niece, sister and I bought some jewelry, they had quite the selection. They be staff was also kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.”

“My review is In regards to the current employees at the Box Lunch store located in the Warwick Mall. I visit this store often. I really enjoy shopping there and not just for the merchandise, but because the employees in this store consistently go above and beyond to enhance and improve the customer experience.The entire team is great but, I would specifically like to mention three employees there who provide exceptional service on a consistent basis and are deserving of recognition. In today’s world, it can be hard to find good employees. I also believe that bad service gets much more attention than good, so sharing good feedback is always important.Alex, Megan and Jayden are the three employees that I usually work with when I go there. They greet me by name, know what I look for and always let me know what’s new. Once customers come in, they put whatever project they’re working on to greet/help customers. “I was treated like a human being! Very rare as I am usually in work clothes. I only knew the brand name of the charm's that I overheard during a conversation. A very pleasant kind goddess gifted person. Directed me towards the Pandora section. She took her time and showed me all of them. My fiance and her mother will be amazed at gifts this year! Because of the phenomenal help of the staff! They deserve too be recognized for the above and beyond service I received... Awesome experience!”
“Cute little boutique with a great selection of high end gift items. I stopped in here last year with my bf to explore some of their wall decor including interesting faux animal head mounts. I absolutely loved their selection of fluffy Russian style hats but talked myself out of buying one last year as I thought they were quite pricey at $46 for faux fur. I regretted it and went back this year to snag one of their hats. So cool and in an assortment of colors. I wore the hat on our recent vacation in the mountains of Colorado and can definitely attest to the hat's great warmth. This store is pricey but has a cool selection- might be a great place to splurge on a unique gift.”

“Can't believe I haven't reviewed one of my favorite shops in PVD. Walked in the first time when it was near Rocket to Mars 6 years ago, when I would come down from Boston to visit my now husband. Since then it's always been a joy to visit Dana and her sweet pups. No matter the space (I think this is the fourth since I've been shopping there, it's always full of lovely little handmade and vintage items. Feels more like a museum of beautiful oddities than a store. The way that everything is displayed is so artful. I make it a point to gift something from here to everyone I love. Please support your local community and support this magical shop.”
“God, I love hole in the wall discount stores! On the outside it might look like a regular convenience store! But on the inside there's so much to look at and find! It's way bigger on the inside than it looks. Plentiful amounts of merchandise, and the owners (I think) are very friendly and polite. The guy who cashed me out almost gave me the incorrect amount of change back and when I politely pointed it out, he seemed sort of embarrassed, but remained calm and thanked me. I bought a bandana, a Du-Rag, and a black hand towel for my bathroom which I had been looking for, for a little bit now. The prices are pretty decent, seeing as how I'd be more inclined to visit a place like this versus a Dollar Tree. There's just something special about these types of places that you don't get at the corporate stores. The Gold Stars Gift Store is a highly underrated gem in Pawtucket. Don't be intimidated by the outside, come on in and you'd be surprised to find something for your house or yourself. It's like a corner store, dollar store, jewelry store, and more mixed into one. Cool place! Would definitely recommend you check it out! :)”

“I love this quirky little gift shop! It's definitely a must-stop on my Christmas shopping run, especially if you have someone on your list who has a love for pop culture. They have a cute little section filled with kitschy pop culture-centric books, cards, decor, etc. They also have a wide variety of Rhode Island-themed items, perfect if you're making a care package. Humorous knick knacks, stationary, patches, souvenirs, etc. - it can all be found here. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable (maybe a little high but that's to be expected with a local mom-and-pop store). One of my favorite little gift shops on the East Side!”
